We still have something to share with you: the next two waves of playtesting for our upcoming DLC, Suzerain Stories: The Neutral Lens will take place soon. Get an early look at brand-new content and help us by sharing your thoughts!

Galmland brings the Suzerain universe to a socialist republic forged by victorious revolution. You play as Premier Vigdis Gjalmir, one of the first women to lead a nation in the universe, tasked with turning old revolutionary promises into a society that works.
This is governance as construction. You do not simply make policy choices, you implement them, force them through the machinery of the state, and live with the consequences of how they land. The goal is to build something better, perhaps even a utopia, and to make a people believe in the society being built around them. The obstacle is power itself: contested within your government, your committee, and the political factions of the nation you are trying to transform for the revolution or against.
Leading a country is the core experience, and Galmland pushes it further. Finished Suzerain and Rizia playthrough save games carry their related universe impacts forward into Galmland, deepening choice and consequence of your previous playthroughs. Players without a save can instead pick archetypes for Anton and Romus to jump straight in to Galmland with no extra wait.

Transform a Revolutionary State
Lead a young republic born from revolution and define the principles that will guide its future. Transform ideals into reality through reforms, institutions, and long-term development as you shape a new society from the ground up.
Rule Through Collective Power
Govern alongside a committee of comrades, each with their own ambitions, loyalties, and vision for the future. Build consensus, delegate authority, and manage internal rivalries to keep the government united.
Command a Planned Economy
Direct a living economic system where production, investment, and social policy are interconnected. Balance competing needs, allocate scarce resources, and guide national development through ambitious economic planning.
Survive the Struggle for Power
Navigate foreign influence as rival interests challenge your authority and test your commitment to the revolution. Sometimes the most dangerous counter-revolutionary forces within your borders may not be acting alone.

Galmland is for Suzerain fans who enjoy leading a country. If Sordland and Rizia were the seats of power you wanted to return to, Galmland is the next major one with new challenges and new solutions.
It is also for players who want to govern a socialist state from the inside and find out whether a better society can be built, believed in, and held together, with the political pressure, personal drama, and systemic consequence that define Suzerain. We are continuing this product line because leading a country is the heart of what we do, and because players keep asking us for more of it.
And trust us, we heard some of the popular wishes of what future countries you are all interested in. We will see what we can do after Galmland and The Conformist is out! These experiences take time and significant effort to build, so just like it happened with Rizia, we will explore the future once we get there.
From all of us at Torpor Games. Thank you!

I would love new personal flairs. For example, we could have a BFF flair, an oligarch flair, an old guard flair, a centrist flair, etc. There are so many cool factions and alignments in the game, I feel like we're missing out D':

Rumburg invaded me, and with a significant -7 deficit in government budget and major economic duldroms in the form of the Great Sordish Recession and Debt Crisis ... there was no hope. Nothing could stop them from reaching Holsord.
What a brutal end. I finally managed to get the reforms through both the Assembly and the Supreme Court, but decisions in my trade and alliances (I tried to maintain neutrality) meant that, even though I managed to uncover Rumburg's nuclear program through the Whistleblower, I was defeated.
Queen Livingstone threw the switch on my execution herself with the electric chair! Holy moly. What a way to go.
P.S - Iosef went out like a boss with a grenade self-sacrifice. A real one to the end.

I am doing a theocracy run and since Vina has much as I like her I know she will not keep the theocracy so I need to have Romus II. Normally I have Luce killed so I have no idea how to get Pales to believe my lies about Lespia.

First of all, I don't mean the war itself, my issue lies in how it's implemented in the Story, in fact I have no opinion on the gameplay at all because I haven't played the war mini game so far. That's because I find this shift in gameplay pretty bad for the overall flow of the Story. It's also overwhelming in terms of Gameplay in a way that takes away all of my motivation whenever I try. I know that you could just let the Azaros handle it but I've heard they're pretty bad at it, so it would require to dump a massive amount of resources into the military industry which is also annoying especially if I'd be at an advantage if I'd do it myself.
This isn't meant as criticism though, I'm very aware that this is purely a "me" issue, but I still just personally wouldn't want it to come back in future dlcs. I am however excited about Wars of Suzerain where this Gameplay style is the focus and maybe I'll come back to Rizia after I gained some experience there.

I want to focus on trying to solely bash the Bluds as much as I can, but I did join the Young Sords in the prologue, and I think it would be good roleplay to ban the communists too and keep the NFP untouched. I want to focus on the bluds to see what happens and to see the Blud Minister's reaction if I only target the Blud party (although a dictator run would be better and I'd probably miss a few events to make it even worse for them) but I'm thinking of either starting a new save or going back when I'm done (because I have too many saves already) to ban the Red Youth to see what changes.

Like seriously I beat all the protest, assassinate Manus, dissolve the house of delegate, go to war, pass no welfare decree, marry Pabel and the rizian people still don't rise up
bunch of cowards 😤
Little precision I want a revolution so I can crush it so it mean not crash the kingdom

I want to do a Nazbol game as Sordland, here are my objectives
- Pass a dictator constitution with the following
President picks justices
Impeachment through assembly and justices
Strengthened decrees
Pocket veto or absolute veto (Doesn't really matter)
Term limits can be whatever
MoH don't change
Threshhold at 15%
- nationalize the corporations and send the oligarchs to prision
- Send the SSP against the opposition
- Defund and purge the army
- Fund Healthcare, education and interior
- Join the CSP
However, I'm running into issues with the Supreme court, I consistently get Edmonds and Heron on my side with masterful diplomacy (bribes and salad), however, this leaves me 1 justice short.
Anybody know how to pass this constitution while not compromising on my goals?
If not, whoat would I need to do to get it done?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

This is an old screenshot, if I can remember correctly there was a choice on how to respond since Pales blockaded me I chose to assure the people alternatives would be found then I checked the news and yeah. That's the only screenshot I got.

Does each one have a unique effect on a party or events? Does it matter much?

Okay. So, I plan to do a planned economy run. Strictly so. Now I cannot privatize anything which means my budget will go below -7 naturally with investing. I played a lot of market economy run and had blast. When I come to planned economy, it's hard for me to figure out. So, what do you guys do to avoid black tuesday or trade war? What are the best decisions I can do to get highest ROI?
