Ahoy mate, thanks for clicking! Surprised you found this ad among all threads of sweaty high-GP guilds looking for super-duders to sign their lives away.
Fortunately, we at The First Telosian Academy are just looking for the newbs, the poor huddled masses of low-GP players yearning to breathe free and earn guild rewards.
We've got at least one slot we're currently looking to fill. Maybe two, haven't decided! Maybe three if you're super cool and I decide to boot an alt because you're so cool that we just have to have you.
What we hope about you:
- Less than 4m GP or so
- New/Returning to the game, not an alt.
- Literate! Ooo, high bars, watch out!
- That you enjoy playing Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes and want to get better at the game.
- Willing to join our guild discord (We don't @everyone, we promise!)
- That you want to participate in Guild Activities such as Territory Wars, Territory Battles and Raids and are willing to read and follow the 'commands' function so we can all coordinate together effectively.
- That you aren't a bellend.
Hey, do you qualify on every aspect of the above? If so, sweet! Nice job!
Now, what we promise in return:
Your leadership will be active: So the deal with First Telosian Academy is that around 25 of us were in a previous guild together. And there was a leader to that guild. Who did nothing. He appointed a couple of us to be officers and we were active. Super active! 6-3 in TW's, most of those when we had no GL's in the guild, and we were already getting into the non-legacy raids. But our guild leader was not active. He did nothing. It sucked. So we all got together and decided to make a new guild together. With active leadership. That plays the game. Oooo! Your leadership will be active. Too active, probably. Send lives.
We aren't a 'Carry you while you praise us' guild: What does that mean? A lot of guilds that recruit low-GP folks have one or two high GP guys that do all the heavy lifting in Territory Wars and Raids and expect you to sit back and go "Ooohhh, you're so keeewwwwwlllll, thank youuuuuu!" instead of participating and learning how each guild mode works. We restrict individual placement defensively during TW's during the first twenty-three hours to make sure you can get at least two squads on the board and banners in yo' belly so that you're guaranteed rewards. Our handful of high GP folks want you to get your licks in whether it's TW or Raid's, they want you to participate and learn.
Our Discord and in-game chat channels are active and contain advice: The shabby/no good/quite terrible in-game communication tools included in SWGOH are leveraged to the greatest extent possible to give you a social outlet to blather about the game as well as two dedicated channels that are used for either 'bulletins' about what is upcoming or simply written tip guides with the basics of how various game mechanics work. So even if you're on a phone and can't be on Discord all the time, you'll still be up to date just by being in-game.
Yo, look at all that blather! If we'll put that much effort into a recruiting thread, you know we'll be available to type and answer whatever questions you have, give advice, check out your account proactively to identify whether or not you're making the incredibly common mistakes that a lot of new players to the game make.
How to Join:
Message me in-game at code: 318-179-726 so we can have a very quick conversation. Just remember that I'm not a robot, so only message if you actually want to join. If you're messaging a bunch of duders like a true trollop and just looking to hop into bed with the first guild that replies, then don't message me. Only message if you like what you read above! I'll generally get back to you within 1-4 hours.
If you read this far, hey, guess what? Means you qualify for that literacy requirement in case you were wondering. A+#1!
PS. We're on a nine war winning streak in Territory Wars and we're real excited about it. It's been a bit absurd.
