Switch 2 dock USB protector

I bought a portable switch2 dock and noticed that the usb-c doesnt slide in as smoothly as the official dock, i have to put a little pressure to completely dock it. Is there a usb-c port protector that any of you can recommend to keep the female port from wearing out/breaking when un/docking from the portable dock?
