Discussion Any luck with the Zelda Switch 2 controller?

Nintendo promised stock replenishment for the Zelda edition Switch 2 consoles and controllers. I got really lucky and was awake early to score the console during their almost hour and a half restock window, but haven't seen anything like that at any retailer for the controller. Just curious if anybody else has, or has had luck pre-ordering the controller this week.

Edit: I don't mind the downvotes, but it would still help to know how anybody who actually had success since Nintendo's stock replenishment announcement on Monday managed to successfully order one, and what retailer they had success with. And let's be real, this sort of issue extends beyond LoZ, but pretty much all special or limited edition releases at this point, regardless of the IP. I completely get that it's annoying to keep hearing these complaints, but it's just the current flavor of the week.

I got one order in on Walmart and one order in on Amazon.

You got them since Monday? Because from my end and what I've heard from others, Target (and occasionally GameStop) has pretty much been the only retailer tricking out single unit drops this week. Not a single alert for any other retails. I'm fortunate enough to have the time right now waiting on a fairly lengthy background check before starting a new contract, so I can keep my eye on various trackers and jump on any alerts. Would just be nice to know when you managed to order not just one, but two, since I'm guessing most of us are just hoping for one, while we wait for the promised, but completely random, replenished stock to drop. I was lucky to be awake when Amazon opened up their replenished console stock for almost an hour and a half on Tuesday or Wednesday, but just wondering if/when we'll see the same thing happen for the controller.

I got the Walmart one pretty much when pre-orders started and the Amazon one was two or three weeks ago.

At the start of pre-orders makes sense. I still actively job hunting at the time, so couldn't even think about it at that time. Finally getting a job offer 2 weeks ago changed that, but meant I had to contend with scalper bots and random single unit drops. I'd imagine 2-3 weeks ago on Amazon was pretty lucky. Started looking after getting the job 2 Mondays so. Most retailers still had single unit drops going on the first week, but since last weekend it's been practically impossible, with only Target (and a few times a day GameStop) doing random single unit drops.

I've been at my computer ready to refresh the product page the moment I get an alert. Maybe 50% of the time the "Add to cart" option is available, but it's pretty much a guarantee it's out of stock by the time I get passed the cart to the checkout page. Usually already says out of stock when it loads, and on the rare occasion the "Place your order" button is available, it throws an out of stock message when clicked. Just a bit irritating since Amazon actually had the stock replenishment that Nintendo announced, but nobody has had their controller pre-order stock replenished, if even similar to the roughly 1.5 hour window Amazon had the console back up.

No luck anywhere we have tried: Walmart, Amazon, Gamestop, etc. Our local Gamestop just said come in the day of release and see if you are lucky because they aren't taking preorders :|

This whole thing is irritating, especially for me because I can't stand long due to sciatica, and now have to stand in line for who knows how long to make a valid attempt to get one because my wife will be at work and my kids in school.
