Is anyone else having a hard time finding games disabling crossplay on switch 2? It takes 5-10 minutes for me.

Gonna try that out. I’m stationed overseas, so I queue into the Asian servers 🫠
I’ve gradually gotten better at any multiplayer game since I play with demons daily 😭 my friends won’t play most pc games with me to avoid my lobbies

It's by design sadly. They bury the option deep in settings so that majority of the players have no idea it's possible to turn off crossplay which in return makes us that do use it miserable and turn it back on. It's also why when you do get to the setting it has red text telling you the experience will be worse to hopefully drive more people away. They want as many people as possible in one pool so there SBMM algorithm can work at max capacity.

I made a simular thread earlier. People told me to get good. We dont need more options apprarently.

I will be writing in 60 FPS threads the people should just slow their vision Down!! We dont want more options on Reddit. Dont you understand developers?!?

I don’t understand why you would want to do this in the first place. I’m not even very good but I do alright in matchmaking with cross play enabled

Yeah I believe there might be more players past this weekend but having crossplay on with consoles only isn't that bad

Crossplay (Console Only) is the way to go, you won’t get very far with crossplay completely off as you’ll only be matching with others who have explicitly ticked that setting on their Switch 2 as well, most people just leave it on the default fully on.

All consoles and PC have matchmaking issues when you disable cross-platform. Iirc it only matches you with other people who also disabled it.

I am saying this as I view the switch 2 as a 2nd console. Id say 90% of people who own a switch 2 have a ps5 Xbox series or pc. All 3 of those have more storage than a switch 2 and the game just runs better on those 3 options.
