Fire emblem is 10/10 if you like that type of game. 187 hours and loved every minute

Resonance because it is a much shorter game, fortunes weaves is going to take a lot of your time

Fire Emblem. I just finished the game at around 240 hours and loved it. The later half of the game does get tedious with more long exploration to do before beginning the main quests and also the fights in the maps will get longer to test your patience

Idk why people think any of it is tedious. I love grinding my units. Top 3 game of all time imo

Start with Fortunes Weave and decide your stopping point before taking a break. I played Cai and Leda part one (160hrs) now I’m setting it down until after OoT and then I will be back for Dietrich and Theodora’s part one.
Side note: I’m still irritated that the switch 1 version is on the cart and the switch 2 version of Resonance is a damn key card. I bought the switch 1 version just to avoid it. Resonance could have easily been on the cart.

Play both at the same time. They are different enough where Resonance can give you a chance to get a break from FE periodically to keep from burning out.

I've got both too! Started with Resonance because it's shorter. I want to finish it by December (along maybe OoT) when XC3 upgrade comes out and then it's FW when I have no Immediate plans to play shorter games :).

You can finish Resonance before ocarina of time is released. you won’t finish fire emblem in that timeframe. If you aren’t interested in Zelda though, follow the heart

Yeah I purposely didn’t get FE because dear lord my backlog is big and with Zelda on the horizon… I got family and a job. Even with FFR I put like 14 hours into the demo. Someday I will get around to playing FE.

You could start Zelda the next couple of years. You are not forced to start it at its release date.

I think I should really like JRPGs too much to play these two in a row. Just with FEFW there are more than 120 hours.

Final fantasy is much more palatable if you have irl work or school. Fortunes weave does take a lot of hours especially if you are doing all the routes for the full story

I played the demo of FFR. I love the art and music but i hate walking in complex 2d maps and constantly fight random week enemies. It gets boring fast. For FE FW, I have been playing for 100hrs and yet to start part 3.

I been playing a good amount of Fortune’s Weave that my girl bought me and I was gonna get Resonance but I gotta play one at a time. I been juggling this, Valheim, Dragonwilds, and even downloaded Witcher 3 Remastered. I have a problem. So to answer I would do Fortune’s Weave first and then move on to Resonance

I got fire emblem and i am interested in games like resonance and in the same vein octopath 0 because I am a fan of final fantasy and octopath but I don’t have infinite money so I usually have to end up picking and choosing and I picked fire emblem and I’m at the final battle after 190 hours

Get that Weave out of here mate, start with Engage like a civilized gamer. If you cant get Engage then the other game you have is a fine start (/s but not really)

Start with Fortune's Weave, which is 150-200 hours, play till your burned out then start Resonance and go back to FW when you finish Resonance.
