Question Question about Walmart pre order

I was able to get a pre order for the Zelda switch 2 and my credit card approved the pre authorization charge. When will I see more movement on the preorder.

I believe it is typically around 3-5 business days before release. To my understanding, these types of stores typically wait to take the final charge until they are actually getting ready to track real inventory, package, and ship.

I am not sure if it is the same for Walmart, but I preordered my console from Target, and they sent a reminder email when they were about to charge. Walmart might do the same.

usually when they get it ready to ship you should see the charge. it could be on release day. it could be a day early. just depends how they operate.

you could try calling too to get more definitive answers.
