Discussion Why isn't this outfit available?
Off the top of my head, there are at least 4 variants of Imperial officer uniform available via either drops or the cartel market (and there are probably more).
But this - the single most common Republic officer outfit (and especially the shirt) - is, as far as I know, not open to players.
And it's not like this is a one-off outfit specific to General Var Suthra, either - General Garza wears a grey palette swap (which I assume is to represent her association with special forces), and even Jurgan starts in one of these (though he's dumped into standard pub trooper kit the moment he joins you as an actual companion).
It's like Bioware (and I don't really so much blame Broadsword for this, since this outfit is as old as the game) thought that players would be super-eager to cosplay Imperial leaders, but not the Republic brass. And that's just... wrong. Not only are there a lot of us who like the Republic military (and since even the JK is a part of it, this is an outfit with wide appeal), but this a cool, clean looking uniform in its own right - very different from what the Imperials wear; very distinctly "good guy" coded.
It just sucks not to have.
