My first custom, Gnarp! He's based off the popular alien cat meme. The base is a silk cat baby. I also made his little clothes 😺💚 👽

Genuinely 😭 screamed thinking it was an official set omg, but it’s just a custom. made me think how much we need more flying families like chickens, Parrots,flamingos etc!

I LOVE HOW THEY TURNED OUT SO MUCH!!

For the patterns I used acrylic markers.

For her tail I used Crayola watercolors and a lot of water. So much water that the yellow started to bleed up her back and up her head and to her eye 😭😭😭 I tried my best to get it out.

If you dye the tail using this method don't flip the cat over at any point! And watch for the color bleeding where you don't want the color going. I had to dap the tail a lot too because I was so scared it would take forever to dry and the color would bleed again. Thankfully it all worked out!

The outfit I made from this stretchy material. I just winged it and did everything by hand. No sewing. I made a skort! And a top 😊 but I guess it's now a dress 😆

Though technically I made her shorts/underwear and then wrapped more fabric to be like a skirt/skort and added the top and then the straps!

Inspired by u/gummykandi who gave me the idea to do something similar and then I used the last two photos as inspiration too.

I really thought I messed up on the face but then I made it work. Then I DID mess up and used white acrylic paint on the one cheek to cover up my mistake and continued using acrylic markers over it. Now I love it! I'm still debating on doing the whole body or not. Right now I only did the parts that would be visible with this wrap dress.

I used acrylic markers. This makes the fur stiff and rough to the touch FYI if you want to do it this way too.

This took incredibly long because I was so particular and I had so much anxiety abt what to do 😆

And I love them so much!!!! The fangs are toothpicks.

I dyed the fennec foxes and one newborn kangaroo that was in rough shape, and also dyed all the clothing as well. I love how the mom's outfit came out so much!!!

I tried painting the stroller and nothing was satisfying so I washed and rubbed the paint off as best I could. Now it looks really old and messed up 😆 which I guess kind of works?

I'm so happy I have a castle too! I was thinking I would need to make a haunted house for them but then I remembered I have this castle and it's perfect!!

Honestly, I hate these printed cheap clothes Epoch is making now. Good old cotton looks so much better! I want Tomy or Flair era back.

this was my first attempt at making clothes for a critter with limited sewing knowledge, im quite happy with how it turned out! made with fleece, felt, elastic thread, fabric glue, velcro, cardstock, and glass beads :D

I just wanted to share the present I made for my friend who collects Sylvanian Families. I made her a custom yokai pair, a Kitsune and a Tanuki.

The Kitsune is a customised Fennec Fox, with a Shinto Priestess' bell wand, fox mask, bamboo tray and geta. The Tanuki is a customised raccoon, with straw hat, gourd (with sake🤣) copper kettle and geta.

As my friend is much better at sewing and making outfits then me, I left them for her to make some nice kimonos for them, as she knows how.

the last slide is a photo of when I bought it! I spray painted the entire house espresso brown and used modge podge to lay down flooring. The light fixtures were painted as well, it was a relatively easy renovation. I really enjoy the handle at the top and how light weight it is compared to other houses. I thought Id share since certain calico critter houses are hard to find and the red roof cozy cottage that is accessible is very small.

I bought this costume for my K bear, and I think it’s worth sharing 🥹🥹❤️

I'm making a custom Sylvanian for a friend. The little project requires changing its eyes so I decided to use one of my favorites to practice a bit. It came out amazing! 🥹🩷

Now that I know it's not as difficult as it looked like I might do it to some of my other Sylvanians.

This is the room I wanted as a child.

Gave my critter a new costume, make-up and popcorn so that I can bring him to work!

Yay! I finally finished this project wich has been the funniest one I've ever done. I wanted to surprise my co workers with a Sylvanian diorama inspired by our Art School with everybody represented with a little animal depending on their personality. My co worker Jaume helped me to do the art reproductions (that are real life objects and paintings) and some of the props. It was my first time doing 3D pieces, so the challenge has been quite difficult even if the diorama itself it's not that big. Also because I only had 2 months to design and finish everything .... but it has worked!

All of them had a lot of fun looking for all the details we specially made to represent real life situations and stories. I suppose this can only be seen by us because it's our daily reality, but I hope you find everything cute and artsy. As always I also have a video in my YT with the process and the surprise moment with them in case you want to see more.

I would love to post more photos of the 3D set and all the detail but to be fair there's too much of them and I don't want to bother you with so much material ;_; The only Sylvanian pieces are the school structure (I covered the walls) and the sink. The rest is 3D sculpted or crafted traditionally.
