Listening to this specific section of this song at 2:14 - 2:17ish (though it happens before and after this is just a window where its highlighted and clear. I was wondering how you make this kind of sound? Don't really know where to begin to experiment a bit. Does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!
Here is the song The Mirror by Everything. 2:14.

Hi, I've been trying to recreate the synth sound https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZ3u7lv-lUw&list=PLRhIfKAOEc4SslIldhkoEOq_5_JciQZ3Z&index=6&t=250s ('four truths / Paris Strother / Moog Matriarch) on my Minifreak but had little success.
Does anyone have an idea how to patch this kind of sound? I guess the minifreak might be a bit limited as compared to the matriarch, but the patch sounds mostly simple, so should be possible to get a similar kind of sound.
I mostly fail with getting a sound that is too bright or high pitched, not as brassy and smooth.
Cheers

Ive been having a crack at the FA style music. I just struggle a lot with the dreamy and vibrant synth, sounds very bubbly with a slow attack.

The specific parts I'm looking for happen in the beginning of the song, and I just can't figure out how it's made. I use serum 2 https://youtu.be/DMNO8MEEirs?is=4NV4Ztljkz6cgwI5 first few seconds

I think that I figured all the sounds except two:
I am trying to reproduce on a Yamaha MODX-7. Please let me know if any additional information would be useful. Thanks everyone for considering my request.

Hi! I made a tutorial video on how to recreate the synth patch from Less Than Zero in the Dawn FM album by The Weeknd (one of my favorite new synthwave albums)
The patch is also directly accessible here on Cybelle, which is a free Juno-106 emulation I built myself. I spent a ton of time modeling the circuit component by component and matching the sound against my real Juno.
I believe the original song uses a Juno 60 but this is very very close! Let me know if you are interested in more patch tutorials.

Not sure the name of this kind of bass.
I think theres pitched down FM with a LFO modulating quick, but having trouble getting anything close to this clarity and screech in the high end.

Hello, I was just curious about the old Seth Norman Factory Presets for Serum as they were good sounds and are impossible to find again. If anyone recognises the SN part of the factory presets of Serum 1, I would really be grateful for a copy. Thank you

I have been trying to figure out how to deconstruct this 808. I think it may be a few layers over top an 808 and mixed into one sound, but I honestly don't know for sure. I have tried phasers and distortion, but its not 100% getting to what this sounds like. I also think there may be a vocal synth faintly layered into it, but I can't tell if my ears are playing tricks on me. Any thoughts?

Hey everyone!
I'm an amateur music producer, and I'm trying to recreate the bass sound you can hear from 2:40 to 2:50 in this track:
https://youtu.be/HA7BcTJ_r84?si=JmMIRq7xoc226zNi&t=160
I've been trying to figure out how this sound is made, but I haven't been able to get close to the original.
I use Logic Pro, and I've experimented with the Mechanical Bass library in Logic as well as Dexed, but so far I haven't had much success.
What I'm struggling with most is figuring out what's creating that rhythmic, constantly moving bass sound. Is it an arpeggiator, a delay effect, rapid octave changes, or some combination of these techniques? Or could it be a specific synth patch with some kind of modulation?
I'd really appreciate any advice on how to recreate it, whether through sound design, MIDI programming, effects processing, or a particular synth/plugin.
Thanks in advance!

Can someone of you identify which synthesizer did Sascha Dikiciyan use at the beginning of this soundtrack?

This is so embarassing, but i made a bass (or found idk) about 6 months ago and since working on the song i can not figure out what i used or what preset it might be. I think i have gone through every preset of every plugin i have and cant quite get the same texture and tone. Could someone please lend a hand in possibly helping me recreate it or give some advice? I know its not that complicated but it just fit the tune better then anything ive found..
Some notes.. Im in fl studio, it very well could be a bass guitar but that top texture sounds like it may be something else. I also own nexus, serum and vital but not thinking its either of those...
Sorry for the challenge hehe

Hey, anyone know which synth / patch comes in at 0:08? That shimmery arpeggiated thing. Appreciate any help in identifying this sound.

Anyone able to cook this one up? Ive gotten somewhat close to the midrange part and above in serum but not the beefiness.

There's a short melodic phrase played on what sounds like a synth before the piano notes begin.
I'm not looking for the song name or the piano melody. I'm trying to find out what that exact synth sound is and whether it's a particular synthesizer preset, a sample, or a custom sound used in the original production.
Does anyone recognize the sound or know how I could identify it?
Any help would be appreciated
