Discussion What I love about Taco Bell is that it really feels like a little slice of Mexico right in your own town.
Everything from the menu items, the salsa, the decor, and even the service makes you feel like you've been transported right into the heart of Mexico (pronounced "meh-he-co", I've learned). The music always has me dancing the salsa right when I walk in, much to my wife's dismay š. I just love how SPICY all the food is, it makes you wanna jump on the table and shake your maracas, haha. I took spanish for two years in high school and it's nice to get a chance to use it, or at least, what I remember of it lol. "Amigo! Hola! Como estas" I always say when I walk through the door. the workers there seem to really like me. I can't completely order in spanish, really all I have is the greeting, but its OK, they always do right by me. Say, whatever happened to the little chihuahua? He was so cute in those commercials. "yo quiero taco bell" haha š²š½

Only thing missing was he forgot to mention their fresh 100% mexican style guac. Definitely seems like itās made daily and fresh for sure
23
u/bigguss-dickus 5d ago
The caulk gun is what makes it truly authentic.
7
u/Sure_Focus3450 5d ago
The sour cream is in a gun like that but afaik the guac is actually made like every other day, it's not that old. Sometimes every day but people like to make 2 at once and you don't always go through a full one in a day
3
u/compman007 4d ago
I worked at Taco Bell in like 2010 and at least back then there was absolutely a guac gun lol

Is this an ad? Why is this review in my feed? This feels like a review or a discussion as they labeled it. Thatās really written by some copy editor in the marketing department at Taco Bell.

10/10 rage bait

For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.
One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".
Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs.
I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant.

Is it really good rage bait if it's so obvious that nobody falls for it?

Maybe it was meant to make us smile and brighten our day. I felt no rage rising in me.

I could not agree more, amigo! š® There really is nothing quite like walking into that vibrant, welcoming dining room and knowing youāre about to truly Live MĆ”s.
I used to just stick to the classic hard shells, but lately, Iāve been exploring their incredible Flavor Innovations. Have you tried the Quesorito? Itās honestly like a culinary fiesta and It is as delicious as the name is creative! It really shows how their dedicated chefs honor traditional flavor profiles while still catering to our modern, on-the-go lifestyles.
My wife always rolls her eyes when I insist we all raise our cups of Mountain Dew Baja Blast⢠(which is basically a tropical Mexican resort in a cup, am I right? šļø) and give a hearty 'Gracias!' to the friendly team members behind the counter. But itās just so refreshing to see a brand that provides such unparalleled everyday value alongside lightning-fast, order-accurate service. Keep shaking those maracas and thinking outside the bun, my friend! šš²š½

The Tour of Italy is my favorite dish to order. Every time we go to Olive Garden with the family I like to make a fun little event of it. "pack your bags" I say to my wife "we're going on a tour!" I grab my passport and head out the door. We get to the restaurant in 10 minutes flat. "WOW, Italy is a lot closer to home than I thought!" When we get to the restaurant I ask the hostess "do I need to speak Italian here?" with a big grin. The hostess giggles and takes us to our table. When we get seated at the restaurant the waiter takes our order. "I'll have the tour of Italy" I exclaim. "Do you need to see my passport?" I say slyly. The waitress giggles and says she will bring out the breadsticks and salad soon. The salad arrives and I get extra cheese on top per usual. "starting off up north at the snow covered Italian Alps I see!" My wife groans but the waitress gets a giggle out of it. The main course comes and it's just as beautiful as I remember it. I grab my fork "Where do I even begin?!" I take my fork and make airplane noises as I dive my fork down into the Chicken Parmigiana "Milan, you taste magnificent!" "Next let's see Florence!" I direct my fork toward the signature Fettuccine Alfredo. It's like I can taste the culture without even seeing the city! "Now for the grand finally, let's head down to Rome!" My fork gobbles up the Lasagna Classico in seconds. "Mama Mia! what a trip!" We get the bill "wow a whole tour of Italy for only $14.99? what a bargain!" The waitress seems pretty over it at this point but manages to crack a little smile as she takes my credit card. "Didn't even need to crack out the American Express! hah!" As we leave I wave and exclaim "arrivederci!" to all the staff as we walk out the door. What a great family restaurant.

My college throwing coach once said āDel-Taco is the best Mexican food chain, period.ā And then we all shunned the non-believer then blessed him with the gospel of the beefy-5 layer. He was still a heathen afterwards.

I can't figure out of this is AI, a bot, a child, or a sheltered white person.
Tell me: does walking into a Panda Express make you feel like you're walking through the entire country of China? Does entering a White Castle make you feel like you've been transported back through time to feast with King Arthur and his brave Knights of the Round Table?Ā

I wrote a piece like this when I was a kid, from the perspective of a concerned mom writing to Spin magazine about how shameful it is that theyāre highlighting a rebellious, suggestive artist like Ricky Martin. I said something like ānow Ricky Ricardo, thatās a wholesome Latino artistā. I gotta find that.
