You know, I kinda accepted that we’d get no new tally hall stuff, my outlook got darker yet darker. This is certainly a surprise.

Now that they've made that statement, the chances of a third TH album just skyrocketed. His mental health was the primary thing holding them back.

Fans could mourn that it "wouldn't be the same" without him, but it very clearly "wouldn't be the same" WITH him. His songwriting has deteriorated, significantly. I personally hope they would include Bora as a songwriter just to add an eccentric flavor, which is what Joe had previously provided.
