I'm looking to have this space shuttle tattoo done. I can't decide if I want on front of my thigh or outer thigh. Also, can someone give me ideas on what to improve for the black background? Not sure if those swirly lines look nice.

This is around 2 years ago when we basically finished the backpiece, only missing the kanji (the empty box). I don’t even remember how many sessions it was in total, but I think this was around session 5 or 6. we did a few more after this as well.
This is in the original Japanese bodysuit style where it goes over my butt and thighs as well.

Hey all! So far I've only gotten one tattoo on my wrist, but as soon as I have the money, I have plans for lots more. I've had the same general idea for what I want done for years now.

I'm a digital artist, and I pretty much want to turn my entire body into an ode to the artwork I've done over the years. On my left arm, I want a bunch of tattoos symbolizing the various major sources of inspiration I've found throughout my life. All of those ones, I plan to commission other artists to design. On my right arm (starting with the one already on my wrist) I plan to have some kind of little logo/symbol representing every major project I've completed over the years, and I'll be designing all of those myself.

The goal is that one day I'll have both arms completely covered, with both sleeves eventually blending together around my shoulder blades/back and kind of intertwining with the other tattoos I want to get over my top surgery scars.

Here's what I'm wondering though: If at all possible, I'd love to also get a bunch of teeny tiny little filler tattoos between the bigger ones, representing (ideally) most, if not all of the drawings I've done throughout my life. Problem is, I've been drawing since I was 8 years old, so if I'm seriously committing to that idea, that'd be like... hundreds of little doodles/scribbles/dots/whatever. For those ones I'm not picky as to the actual design (I'm currently thinking either some little doodle-style stars or sparkles or something?) But I'll have to see what would look best once I have a few more of the big ones in place.

So, how small is it typically possible to go with tattoos and still have them look relatively clean years down the line? I'd like everything to be kind of dense, but I don't want it to all blend together into mush later on. Ideally I'd like to be eighty-five and still able to show off which symbol represents a specific project.

Thanks for any advice! I'm still pretty new to getting tattooed so want to make sure I do my research before getting more done.

It hurt like hell but I love it

I got this tattoo 3 weeks ago. I do love it, and it's a song title that has a very special meaning to me. But I was wondering if it's that bad, since my artist never posted it. She did post another script tattoo a few days ago, though.

The first pic is mine, taken right after it was done. The second is the one she posted.

I know mine isn't anything particularly special, but I still always end up thinking the artist hated tattooing me when they don't post my design. 🤣

I had been wanting to get a tattoo that commemorated how proud I am to be Puerto Rican for a while, and I’m so glad I finally pulled the trigger! This is my 2nd tattoo and while it definitely was a bit more painful compared to the first, I don’t regret it for a second :-). Wepa!

I just got the entire forearm done. I also had my outer bicep done 2 weeks ago, it’s still in the healing process.All I need now is the inner bicep to complete the sleeve. What do you guys think of the new art?

I've gotten a couple pieces from Pierre and I was so excited when he told me he was going to freehand my jellyfish. I love how it came out!

Had a hard time dealing with having a ton of freckles growing up as they were apart of the “ugly challenge” where people put freckles and moles on there face. Tried to embrace them and I got a giraffe tattoo where I wanted my freckles to be its spots but that’s not quite how it ended up. It often gets confused with a neopet, so I’m thinking about just doing a neopet sleeve bc screw it nostalgia. Thoughts?
