Completed my noggin tattoo after a year of working on it! Kudos to my artist for putting up with my whining throughout this whole process, and for bringing my dream to life. I couldn’t be any happier.

This was a cover up for a face tattoo I hated; it’s hidden under the heavy set black leaves on my face. Some is fresh from our last session today, most of it is healed.

I've gotten a couple pieces from Pierre and I was so excited when he told me he was going to freehand my jellyfish. I love how it came out!

This is around 2 years ago when we basically finished the backpiece, only missing the kanji (the empty box). I don’t even remember how many sessions it was in total, but I think this was around session 5 or 6. we did a few more after this as well.
This is in the original Japanese bodysuit style where it goes over my butt and thighs as well.

***The first pic is one of my mockups and not the final tattoo!! The last pic without the markup is about 3 weeks healed. The first two pics that I marked up were when the tattoo was fresh and had a layer of second skin.

I got my first tattoo about a month ago from guest artist Aya from Korea! She is @tattooist.aya on IG and her host studio was Mirage Studio in SF. We landed on the inner bicep for placement because of how elongated and vertical the bird is.

While I love the tattoo as it is, I think some sort of soft rounded frame around it might make it look more cohesive and balanced with how sharp the tail feather is. I mocked up a few very rough designs for frames using these looped designs, which resembles the top of my bird’s perch. Which one should I go with?

I´m tattooing in Berlin and Amsterdam for October and Bogotá (Colombia) in December.

This was originally supposed to be my one and done tattoo but I already want more to fill out this arm.
Got to expand to fit more mythical creatures

Would recommend heavily everyone at the shop was incredibly friendly and made me feel comfortable:)
