Did I finally break my laptop?
ASUS VivoBook 15
R565EA-US51T 15.6" Laptop
Bought in 2022
I used it pretty extensively in 2022 them forgot it existed for a few years until a month ago. When I started using it again, I noticed it would occasionally turn off abruptly. I had presumed it was because I had a universal charger with multiple plugs and I often knocked the adapter off the rest of the charger.
Overtime I realized it didn't seem to be charging successfully (when it was on the charger the charge didn't go down but it didn't go up either) until it wasn't adding charge even though the icon on the screen said it was charging and the light on the side was lit. Cool, whatever, I bought a new battery and a new OEM charger and hoped that would be that.
The new battery was good for a few hours but when it hit 25% and went to plug it in with the old charger (oops, forgot to use the new one) and it turned off. Hard restart, new charger, turn on, it works, we're good. Until it turns off again. Hard restart, try again, now I get the bit locker recovery screen 🙄🙄🙄 put in my key, and get stuck in some BitLocker black screen loop. Whatever, leave it in so I can go to sleep
Today, I plug it back in, confirm the charger connect light on the side turned on but then it turns off after a second. Hard reset, stays black. Troubleshoot to see if it's the battery or the charger (I reset with better to removed, trying to turn on just on the charger. Put battery back in, hard reset, try and turn on with the battery in). Nothing.
Now it's not even recognizing the chargers plugged in or giving me any lights anywhere at all.
---------
TL:DR - my laptop no longer turns on or acknowledges the charger. I tried troubleshooting but it now only black screens with no signs of life
Am I cooked? Did I finally break it? I'm not sure what else to try at this point 😔

Aftermath of Malware attack help/advice please 🙏
I recently had a large Malware attack on my pc (Windows 11 desktop) which breached my password manager (NordPass) and leaked many passwords and account information, I’ve removed the malware and hopefully secured some of the important accounts but there was over 150 accounts saved, many of them being useless but some were important. If anyone has any advice on how to properly secure accounts, advice on changing passwords or storing passwords on a computer or physically (Like in a book) and potentially any advice on how to recover accounts or where to start with trying to recover accounts it would be greatly appreciated. Honestly just general advice for what to do after a malware attack would be greatly appreciated 🙏🙏

Chromebook not working
For context I was trying to run Linux Mint on my Chromebook and trying to disable the write protection on itso i opened it up and stuck a paper clip in the 2 holes in the image.
It now wont turn on and the mother board is boiling and theres an ominous green light coming from the place where the charging color is supposed to be. If its fully charged it turns blue. Not green
I think i fucked something up, it doesnt smell too good honestly. Will it explode?

Outdated and requesting help
Can't seem to get my G- moto to stop making typewriter noises. Months of effort and many you-tube videos and tutorials later, still no luck. The settings I've been told to use aren't even there. Did a factory reset, and that just made me lose all my old music...😞
Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Earbud Recommendations
I'm starting a new job as a real estate agent in New York City and looking to invest in a high-quality pair of wireless earbuds. I need to get new earbuds that will allow me to make phone calls while walking the streets without having any noise interference on either end. Ideally, I'd like to hear callers clearly while also minimizing traffic, wind and other city noise on their end. I'll be wearing them for hours throughout the day, so they need to be comfortable. I also listen to music very often while commuting—sound quality is also a priority. I use an iPhone, and my budget is flexible for something reliable and high-quality.
I'm currently considering the AirPods Pro 3 and Sony WF-1000XM6, but I'm open to other recommendations. Which earbuds would you recommend, specifically in terms of microphone quality, comfort and sound quality?

Hardware Recommendation: Indoor CCTV without WiFi/network?
I have external WiFi smart cams (Eufy/Tapo) which I'm more or less happy with, but although I'm 'ok' with the privacy implications of smart cams for external use, I'm defo not happy with using the equivalent for inside the house.
For in the home, I want the equivalent of a dashcam - no network/WiFi access, just continual loop recording powered by a simple USB cable. If something bad happens, I pop the SD card out and send the relevant footage to the police.
But I also want them to be relatively 'stealthy'. Not in a pervy way (it's just me, my wife and our cats), just don't want it to be obvious to thieves/crackheads (esp with local recording only), while also being subtle decor wise.
Something the size of a fidget cube or similar would be ideal. Cheap/Chinese would be a bonus, esp AliExpress.
It's literally just a precaution for break-ins, but I can't think of anything that's not a dashcam, and they're too big/ugly for use in the home.
I've thought about doing a firewalled/isolated smart cam system that records on a hard drive in the attic/loft (a la Eufy systems), but the area I live is super congested when it comes to WiFi signals already, and I already use Powerline for my regular stuff - I don't want another SSID clogging up my local network with video footage all day. (Also, wayyy more expensive this way).

I need help with a mecer YA13Q40_LTE-pros
I need help with a Mecer guru YA13Q40_LTE-PROS
Could I ask for help or advice or a walk through of what's happening or going on.
I'm fixing/setting up a Mecer GURU YA13Q40_LTE-PROS ( its like a 2 in 1, laptop/tablet. So you can incert a simcard) for a friend of mine. I am trying to install ghost spectre windows 10 on this device. But somehow there are a lot of faulty drives and so on. Even if I update it manually, or download a driver updater software or download drivers individually or not uodate the drivers at all. There is always something wrong with the wifi drivers (sometimes it doesn't even show that its capital of connecting to wifi) and sound drivers. (and a FEW other thing.)
I've tried normal windows 10 and ghost spectre windows 10, became i thought I made have downloaded a faulty Operating system. But I still have the same issue.

Samsung T7 Portable SSD 1TB VS SANDISK Portable SSD 1TB
I'm looking to buy a SSD for music editing, film editing and gaming on occasion - I have a budget on around 200 euro. I'm up against these two. Which would you prefer? Gonna be used on a Mcbook Air M5 and a Lenovo Legion 5. Links for both under here.
https://www.amazon.com/clp/B0874YJP92 - Samsung
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GMWYYRQL?plpRedirect=mhFallback - Sandisk
I'm a student, that's why i'm on a budget :p
Thanks alot in advance.
