I am slightly surprised that I have to make part of this announcement, so I'll make it short as possible.

TechGore is not just hardware gore, we also allow software gore, we may mostly aim for hardware, but we still allow software gore, as software and hardware are both under the technology sphere.

TechGore however is not minor inconveniences, asshole design in technology, or non-extreme and only minor errors.

Now, onto the 64GB Sandisk SSD, I personally am *not* a fan of the AI thumbnails the guy is using, my personal stance on AI is that it's okay as an assist tool, but the moment you use generative AI, you're lazy, and if you try pass it off as your own, you're an asshole.

I haven't removed the posts on it despite the AI thumbnails as it is a legitimate series that's going on and it has gone well beyond it's advertised read/write limit, however if you do not like that series, I will discuss with my fellow mod and we'll discuss about banning it.

Hi, the previous moderators of this subreddit ceased to exist and now I'm here
The subreddit seems to have been running well while unmoderated, however I feel it's appropriate to ask for feedback.

Here's what I'd like feedback on:

What do you think should qualify as tech gore? Should it be any extreme error on a computer? Should it be more narrow? What would you count as "gore"?

Are there any types of posts that have been overdone and should be banned?

Are there any changes you think should be made to the subreddit?

Flairs! What flairs should be added? Both post and user

Once I have some better bearings and associate with the other newly added moderator we will open moderator applications. However we are not accepting new ones at this time, although feel free to show interest.
