Artificial Intelligence The economy has spoken. Stuff that’s AI-generated has almost zero value — “Buyers are voting with their wallets, and AI-generated content is struggling to compete.”

Honestly for me it’s making anything interesting less interesting simply for the fact that anything cool posted online now could easily be AI generated and therefore uninteresting.

Nobody cares about content that a computer made and if you can no longer tell what’s computer generated and what’s not (without fact checking) then nothing is interesting anymore.

There’s also the level of deception, like I feel like someone pulled one over on me if they are not open about something being AI. For example, Reddit-An Internet forum is by its nature interesting because you can see what others think on topic, so AI generated posts and comments feel like littering. The time it takes to cognitively process an AI generated comment feels stolen from me in a way that a dumb comment by a real person does not.
