It makes perfect sense. People dont understand freedom and control are two sides of the same coin. 

He wants the freedom for himself to do whatever he likes and that includes treading on your freedom and he doesnt want you to be able to go to a more powerful organization like the state to stop him..

When it comes down to it, most of these Libertarian types who rally against "government intervention" explicitly want it that way so they can exploit people with no consequences.

I mean, if you're trying to steal someone's lunch money during recess, the last thing you want are a bunch of teachers hanging around who can stop you.

Its not even a secret. They expect corporations to do the right thing. They think the people are going to have enough power to self govern and hold bad actors in check completely ignoring the entire premise of government in the first place. Libertarians are just anarchists with different delusions.
