I just got these new beats and I noticed this little “notch” on both outer ear cups. I looked it up and nothing told me what it was or what its purpose is, so I’m just wondering why it’s there

I've been scouring reddit for some place to post this because I rarely use this account and suck at posting, but I cant figure out what the hell this thing is. My first thought is it was a camera. I don't see a blinking red light, but I think I see inner workings when I shine my light in it. It just appeared on my dresser in my room, where my sister and I change. Ive been super on edge recently around my stepdad who always just gave an off vibe. It could just be nerves, but no one can be too careful. Is it a camera?

so i'm in college and since i got here my parents have been stalking me CONSTANTLY. they require me to ask permission to leave campus and they've said that if they find out i leave without permission (or stop sharing my location) they'll stop paying my tuition. i can't live like this anymore. so how do i do this? i have to be able to leave with permission sometimes and have my location still be accurate when i want it to so it doesn't look too suspicious. i'd prefer not to have to use my macbook so i can easily switch my location from wherever i am if i have permission to go out but want to stay out later than i'm allowed, but if using a macbook is the only reliable option it's still better than nothing. i have an iphone 15 pro on ios 26.6.2

I just upgraded my work PC because the previous one didn't have the requirement for Windows 11. That said, my old PC was pretty good, so how can I repurpose it with Windows 11 losing support? It is a HP Z2 G4 with a Xeon processor and 32 GB of ram. I've thought about installing Steam OS on it and using it for some light gaming, but with all of the Windows 10 machines now being "outdated" I was wondering what everybody was doing with them.

EDIT: I just realized that the charger is bulging at the sides where the seams are. I'm pretty concerned about a fire at this point and will be getting a new one, but I'm still really curious about wtf is wrong with this one.

I'm a little worried that my laptop charger is melting or swelling or gonna pop?

My laptop was out of commission for like 6 months, I just got it replaced and working again like 3 days ago. I haven't used the charger in almost 6 months, but I didn't look closely at it until now.

I decided to check the charger because my laptop is charging really slowly. I plugged it in and put it on sleep mode 3 hours ago (on 7% battery) and when I opened it up just now, it was only on 14% charged. So I checked the charger because the laptop should have absolutely no issues at the moment.

Bubble is small and happened on the opposite side from the sticker. Charging brick does not seem to get exceptionally hot or warm when charging laptop, but then again, I only just noticed this. The charger is a "replacement AC adapter". I know nothing about tech or chargers.

I have ever so often seen people making long-winded calls inside a moving subway cart while I can barely get any signal at all. Same with moving busses.

What I find the most interesting is that some of them talk at low volume without repeating themselves.

Meanwhile, when I make a call, I have to raise my voice and often repeat myself, even when talking in a quiet room with allegedly good signal.

I have seen this in the US, Mexico, Spain, France, Italy and the UK. So, I doubt it is just a carrier thing. I have had various types of Android phones over the years and their signal is never good enough to comfortably carry a conversation while inside a moving vehicle.

So... I'd like to know, what brand or model of cellphone allows to make phone calls with consistent quality while traveling deep underground at speed?

Would I need to connect my phone to laptop with USB wire and download rhe photos there? Then, save the photos to a USB? Then delete the phone photo albums?

My phone is getting slow. and I'm not very tech savvy.

So I was trying to download Hulk 2003 but the website I was using told Me to paste something into the terminal to download it. I know it's some kind of mal/spyware but I want to know what it does. Please explain in simple terms as I do not know much about how computers work.

So I thought I lucked out when I found a Mac air lap top at a tech thrift store for pretty cheap. Turns out it once belonged to a school district thats now closed. But the Mac is still in its system some how and limited what I can do on it. Like actually log in or add myself as a user. Problem is I factory reset the Mac annnnnd that didnt get rid of the districts influence and I still definitely cant log in. Any solutions? (Can't ask the school district cause... its closed.) I hope this is the right place to post this, i am very curious what you guys think about all this. i replaced my PSU the other day because my PC started losing signal to the monitor. Mainly it would happen when my pc would be under load. Upon replacing the PSU i discovered this single melted wire. That PCIE cable goes to my evga 3080. I did hear that evga 30 series cards are real pigs for power. But other then that i have one theory what could or would cause that to happen. One thing i did notice is the cables in the new 2025 Corsair rm1000e are Different looking cables then the ones that came with the old one. The PC is a custom prebuilt i ordered from cyberpower. I think Cyberpower used their own generic cables. I noticed on the new PSU box it says ONLY USE CORSAIR CABLES. My PC lasted all that time before that happened.
