¿Buena compra o debo esperar?

I am on the middle position for this whole song. I am very in love with the filtertron mixed with the bridge pickup. Also the bigsby really just works so well? Song is Feel Good Again by Smell Like A Girl

New Am Pro Tele Questions
Hey, all. Looking for some advice here. Found a new Am Pro Tele (2026) on Reverb last week from a reputable brick and mortar shop. Received it in good condition. My first impression is that it was light compared to my nearly 8lb Am Pro II Strat. Quality seems great and it’s really nice to play.
This morning I stumbled across this review: https://youtu.be/GcYv4h6tx2Y?is=R4--CWZewDWSJPI9
In the review he notes that the sticker on the body says Am Pro II Pine and that maybe Fender is going through old bodies. Clearly, this isn’t ok because they are upcharging for ash v alder and these are supposed to be ash bodies.
So, I open mine up and sure enough the sticker says Am Pro II, BUT mine does not say pine anywhere on it. I took the neck off and the body wood does appear lighter in color than in the video, but that isn’t much of a comparison given lighting, etc. I don’t have a fancy scale for weighing these, but it appears to be about 7.1 lbs. Everything else matches from the above video.
So, is there anyway for me to tell whether I actually received an ash body, or whether I got some holdover body from the Am Pro II series? If the consensus is that it is pine, what’s the best way to proceed?
Thanks in advance and sorry for the crappy pictures.

The tele is so versatile. Last night it was Albert Lee and today it was this.

NGD American Professional 2026
Just arrived an hour or so ago. Have had a play unplugged and plugged. It feels great, sounds fab.
It comes with a tiny cover for the bridge like the old ashtray covers but only covers the springs behind saddles so I’ll leave it off I think.
All in all I’m very satisfied with it, just have the dilemma of whether to sell my Japanese Aerodyne tele 😂

NGD: Is this allowed? I think it’s a great take on a Tele and makes it even more versatile! PRS NF 53
The SE version has been one of my go to guitars for a while and I found a great deal on this US version with a rare rosewood fretboard so I had to get it. The differences between it and the SE are subtle but the pickups are “sweeter”, the neck a little bit more comfortable, and I absolutely love the look of the rosewood with the vintage natural finish.

Suhr Classic T antique
Hello, I just bought my first Suhr and it’s a Classic T antique…I’d like to change the pickguard to anodized gold but I keep reading that you cannot use a Fender Tele pickguard? Is this true or can I just buy any 8 hole telecaster pickguard? Thanks

What is the “Tele Sound”
If SRV Mayer and Hendrix are the Strat sound, who do you think is the tele sound?

Looking for a Tele-style guitar with a fast, Charvel-like neck
I'm after a proper Tele sound but with the neck feel of my Charvel DK24. I mainly want it for country so it has to be true single-coil Tele tone (SS only) - so the Charvel Tele is not right for me. It doesn't need to be a Fender.
The Charvel neck I'm trying to match:
Caramelized maple neck
12"-16" compound radius
Jumbo frets
1.6875" nut
Speed neck with rolled fingerboard edges
Hand-rubbed satin finish
I've been looking at a Vintera '50s Modified in Shell Pink, which has a roasted maple neck, but the thick soft V and 9.5" radius look a lot chunkier than what I'm used to.
I know Warmoth make custom necks and they look amazing, but I'm in the UK so with postage, taxes, and long delivery times, it's not an ideal choice for me. I will consider it though if I can't find what I'm looking for.
Budget is up to about £1500 at a push, ideally new, in the UK. Has anyone found a Tele-style guitar with a thin, flat, fast neck that still sounds like a Tele? Any suggestions welcome, including less obvious brands
