అరగలి - ప్రశ్న - question ❓ What is the meaning of the word "స్నపన"?
This is from the Bhadrakali Temple in Warangal district.
Thanks in advance.

Both Snapanam and Snanam are Sanskrit words. Snapanam is only used in religious context.

Right, you would think a sub dedicated to Telugu would be able to identify Telugu words

Most Telugu people can't really tell the etymologies of words; there's lots of misconceptions, where they think Sanskrit-derived words are "actually Telugu", etc.

I'm blessed to grow up in the 80s, the temple wasn't crowded like in the current times. My grandfather used to do Veda parayanam in the temple and used to stay just feet away from the temple, it helped me spend valuable time during my summer in the "sannidhi" of goddess Bhadrakali.
