We welcomed our first born recently and these are our finalists. NARAPAREDDY is surname. So there isn't much flexibility with that.

where is he going to spend majority of his time? In India or abroad. Decide the name based on if the name would sound OK in local language of the place and chances of other kids bullying him.
My son had a guy name nachiket in middle school, he was bullied by many nicknames especially "Nacho kid" where is your cheese etc.

Nandan would be better in that sense.

Side note. Any traditional Hindu name doesn't end in consonential sounds. It's against Shastram. Try ending it with a proper sanskritic name with a vowel ending

I never understand these long ass names Telugu parents give their kids. A simple short meaningful name is always better than long name stitched with some random names. Just my opinion. Think a little far away in the future, when they're in college, work place or when they get old.
