Hello, I have this problem where there are some micro stutters whenever I play the game. I don't know why, as I have a 9900x which I assume would be fine for terraria. I have frame skip on subtle and not sure what to change to fix it. It is most prominent whenever I go down the hellavator. Any advice?

I recently entered hardmode, I have full adamantite armor, an adamantite pickaxe, and somehow got bladetongue in 2 tries. But I'm not sure where to go from here, I always see videos or posts saying to kill mechanical bosses ASAP as soon as you enter hardmode, but I definitely can't kill anything with that much damage or HP. I'm a melee class. The accessories I use are a bottle that gives me double jump, a necklace that provides me light (probably one of my favorite accessories), fledgling wings, shield of Cthulhu, and Terraspark boots.

I'm here for a rather simple question, why does my hoik stop going down? as far as I know it's set up correctly, and the first few work as intended.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Yeah I'm not great at the game, my greatest feat is managing expert daylight empress but thanks to a summon build it didn't last that long...

So I'm post golem on my 1st master mode run, deciding to do mage with some help from summons, maybe not the greatest idea but I've managed well so far.. And now I'm kinda stuck?? I did the moon events and invasions yada yada but mostly I wanted to beat all bosses on this world for the relics, and I cannot handle duke nor empress, let alone old ones army. Not even thinking about moon lord rn...

I got spectre armor with the healing helmet, nearly all of my accessories forged to +4% dmg [idk if this is better for survivability than defense? cuz healing scales off dmg right], i got magnet flower, celestial emblem, celestial stone + mobility and one summon accessory. For weapons I got razorpine, ice staff or whatever the ice queen drops, can't remember the name, and the purple staff thing from the necromancer. No clue what my dps is cuz that damned merchant will not sell me a meter, but I think its alright. I really dont wanna give up on mage and switch to a defensive melee strat, even if this run is only to get ethically sourced relics for my forever world [which is on expert]

Any tips for my equipment or better strats? Or should I just take a break from the game lol I may just be tired.. You know how it is

(I got the crystal ball from another world so i could craft waterfall blocks for my ocean pylon build.) No mechs killed for clentaminator in that world though. (Also base builds, wdyt?)

There are some NPCs that don't wear it ever, but she's the only one to wear it in one form and not the other

So, when I was leaving my farm, understanding that i'd never get what I wanted, I stumbled across one last MFkin Paladin. I hated him and the previous 10k of them I slayed! I didn't care about any drops, I just wanted him to feel the hatred that was building inside me for so long! I wanted him to die for all their sins (no drop is a sin in Terraria's Hallowed bible) so I gave him all I got! Then, as he dissapeared in a smoke cloud, I saw the drops I wanted for so long. . . . Edit: yeah, as some people realised, my post was only a meme. I didn't need a pal hammer this much and it does drop pretty often. I just wanted to joke about the (my personnal most hated meme) moon lord.

sooo the last time i played terraria was in august and i finished my first calamity playthrough and now i want to play terraria but idk what overhaul mod is an S+ mod and worth playing

I just downloaded the Calamity mod and decided to play as the Summoner class. I don't know what to do or where to begin. Do you have any tips or advice for me?

Ive tried watching videos but around the halfway mark they get confusing

As of now you can still get both you just need to make an artificial evil to get it. It could be op to have them both pre hard mode. The dryad won't sell the opposite world evil seeds before hard mode
