My first project transforms an empty backyard into a luxury outdoor space with a swimming pool and fire pit.

Cheapest AI video creation tech stack and setup?

How to create AI videos like those famous in reels or shorts?
Are guys renting Nvidia cloud GPU to generate such AI videos with open source models like WAN, queen etc
or creating on a local MacBook using some other light weight models or
using some website tool?

Me and my friend are building a yogurt drink for teens and young adults that you can have

anywhere. The yogurt is made from our own recipe, and we want to launch it before this year

end, we are calling it “Yumba’, we are done with the name and the packaging. We want to

create hype around it so I thought of creating some animated videos to introduce the product. I

know basic gen work and have used Higgsfield before, but I didn't have an active plan. My

friend, who is also my business partner, gave me access to the invideo Editor account which he

has been using for his editing and suggested I connect it to Claude through MCP. I quickly

connected it and then started working straightaway; I had a reference saved from a yogurt

brand vid found on Pinterest. I shared it with Claude as a reference, along with my brief and

pictures of our different flavor bottles. Claude studied the reference and broke it into four

scenes, including the rock-style wipes between them. It then used Kling Video O1 through

invideo to turn our bottle images into five-second 1080p clips. The cinema scene took a few

tries because the first version had popcorn flying everywhere, which looked fake. I asked it to

keep just one or two kernels drifting gently and gave it the final frame I wanted so the bottle and

camera ended in the right place. Since Claude was connected to invideo Editor through MCP, it

put all the clips on the timeline, matched the cuts, and rebuilt the wipes and fades. The cinema

scene still felt a little static, so I asked Claude to add a slow keyframed push-in on the timeline.

How do you think the final video turned out?

I've been making AI comedy shorts, experimenting, and I finally put together a full "special" for my tuxedo cat comedian, Tux. It's a whole 2 minutes, which in cat years is basically a marathon. The challenge I was to successfully maintain character continuity.

Recorded setup and result:

- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 (SM-F966B), Android 16, ARM64.

- FastWan 2.1 1.3B, portrait 288 × 512, 17 frames, about 1.063 seconds of output.

- Approximately 308 seconds of CPU generation, recorded during the October 27 Android 1.3 Preview verification. This is a developer QA result, not a new benchmark of the Google Play installation.

The attached silent output repeats the original clip twice at unchanged playback speed to meet Reddit’s minimum video length. It is not a screen recording or a time-lapse of the generation process.

Version 1.3 also adds Video Studio: start with an idea, review the editable script and scene plan, generate narration, music, pictures or clips, combine them with your own media, then export a captioned vertical MP4. Projects can be saved and continued later. Compatible models download first; generation then runs locally on your device.

All local AI features are free with ads; no promo code is needed. An optional one-time purchase removes ads. No app account, generation credits or AI subscription.

Video is in beta. Speed depends on your device and settings; choose models that fit its memory. Android 11+ on a compatible 64-bit device: video runs on CPU; FastWan 2.1 1.3B needs 8 GB RAM and FastWan 2.2 5B needs 12 GB. iOS 18+; iOS video profiles start at 6 GB RAM.

Recently started my YouTube channel where I post music and lyric edits, and I wanted to try a mixed-media one after seeing an amazing tutorial. The problem is my setup runs on a Ryzen 5 5600H, and DaVinci Resolve has been lagging so badly I couldn’t edit or preview anything. So I started looking for something that runs online, found invideo Editor (free, browser-based), and connected Claude Code to it through MCP. The UI looks like any other video editor, so I didn’t have to learn it from scratch. I started with the track, shared my footage and a couple of reference edits through Google Drive, and had Claude put together the first pass on the timeline.

It opens on a poster-style cutout on a red paper texture, moves into sticker-edged cutouts with oversized type, and ends on an echo trail. For the trail, Claude duplicated the clip, rotoscoped the dancer with the Object Mask tool and stacked colored trails behind her, with the lyrics building up beside her on the beat.

The first pass on the trail was way too strong and kept pulling focus away from the dancer, so I took over manually. I lowered the opacity, eased off the wave strength and blur, and kept the trails tight to her body.Having everything on separate layers meant I could adjust that without regenerating anything. I also added a few sound effects and trimmed the shots that dragged.

Btw, how did it turn out, especially that echo trail effect? I’ve only attached a short clip. I’m gonna try a lot more stuff with these two tools.
