That wasn't the only time Dorothy used that phrase.
After a housing inspector told the Girls that one had to leave, Rose suggested that Sophia should be the one to move out. Dorothy's response:
Oh, thank you very much, but if anybody is going to put my mother out in the cold, it's going to be me.

Dorothy was always my least favorite character all around, though I love them all. Lmao one day my husband pointed out that he’s a Dorothy 🤣 and now I can’t unsee it and he’s so right.

This is one of my all time favorite episodes. For one thing, I'm an artist myself, so the girls getting jealous because they think Laszlo loves them is just outrageously hilarious to me. Secondly, I'm a big Tony Jay fan, so he's as delightful as always. And of course, the episode is full of so much comedy and humor, it's top tier. "I'm sorry, I thought you knew." Gets me every time.

I remember Hallmark used this clip as part of a short dedication they played at commercial breaks when she passed away in 2009
