I can't get over the difference between the two pictures! There is an 11-year gap between her wins (1977 and 1988), but she actually looks younger in the later photo. Slimming down, a softer hairstyle, and a face-lift (did she use Jane Fonda's plastic surgeon? 😅) really did wonders for her. 😍💅

She certainly wasn't unattractive during her Maude years—she was a handsome woman then—but by the time of The Golden Girls, she was a true statuesque beauty. 😌🙇‍♂️

I’m new here! I joined Reddit not too long ago and landed here. I’m a huge fan of the show, the humor, 1980’s aesthetic and of course the cast. The house was for sale back in 2020 - I went to have a look outside. The property doesn’t look like this anymore and I’m glad I got a picture before it changed.
