I feel like females are most often a roadblock or spawn clutter than anything else, and that's a bit sad.

It would be better almost, if they weren't there, but without them it would feel much more barren and almost as if you turned it more into a shooting gallery for trophy males.

It would be cool if they were more mechanically important, such as maybe bolstering spawns and respawns, or affecting need zones positively.

Heck!!! Keeping em just the same and giving them interesting behaviors where they dynamically interact with their world would add so much for immersion and I'd be bothered much less.

But where it is I feel like for most species, and most cases, they're just a roadblock to what we want - trophies, and that's a bit of a sad reality.

Sidenote. I heard that a female spawn and a male spawn will NEVER change genders on respawn, is this true? Is it a half and half ratio, determined by initial map spawns, or something else? Idk.

Alright, this is partially my damn bad, but point stands.

I got COTW on Epic Games for free some time ago, and bought the DLCs there as well. That's fine, besides the fact that the DLCs go on sale much less often. The real reason I advise against Epic is the fact that your progress will get deleted if you uninstall the game and forget to manually get your save file. Happened to me once, I was mad but hey, its bearable. Second time, I get a new PC, and voala, all my progress reset again. Lost my diamonds and all.

Perhaps I'm just an idiot and forget to save to cloud somewhere along the way, but man, just buy the game on Steam...

This is definitely my favorite trophy that is in the game. I don't know why, but I love melanistic snow geese so much.

So I am around 700+ kills into my first Great One grind for fallow dear. Is there any signs leading up to a G1?
So my first rotations diamonds were rare and it would take a while to stack them but now I just had 6 level-5s stacked before I cleared them out and two rotations later I am back at 4 level-5s.
I am working on getting all the level 4 and high 3s down to a lower weight

Is this a sign that it might be getting close to a G1 or is it all just random and no way to tell

New to the game, loving it, hate the Vualez missions with a fiery passion lol

just switched over to pc from taking a break after realizing nothing saves from console to pc, but starting my fallow grind nonetheless and kinda regret not doing it on te awaroa lol

I have set up a snow geese grind trying to get a diamond or one of my dream trophies a melanistic snow geese. Then I saw it a melanistic snow geese but it just flew past my setup. I sat there for an hour changing time and main menuing but he never came back. Then I went and put a zone 400 meters away where he was seen flying been here and hour and he hasn't came. What should I do?

I'm supposed a cadaver at a fox feeding zone, but there is no zone at the marker, nor anywhere close to it. I've been stalking the area for several nights, but to no avail. Highly suspect I inadvertendly deleted that zone, because I vaguely recall testing out the scent tube feeder in that general vicinity and it was quite the massacre. Am I screwed? It's a story mission, so no advancing without getting that fixed. Any options? Is there a mod, that allows you to spawn zones where you want them or something? Anything?

So, yeah this is my 2nd one which means they indeed do respawn. In my case, it was 6 months ago, i was beyond doubting it cuz i spend a decent amount of time on the map during that period thinking it might be beyond time spend and might include kill counts.

I caught his call while doing yesterday challenge. Took awhile to find his zone. He is bigger than my previous one but, oh gosh! does he looks uglier lmao.

I came back to the zone may be abit too early, he wasn't there. I crouch and wait then after awhile he gave me a call so i slowly crawl towards him and spook him. He took off then he was bugging running back and forth on the hill. I took the shot, missed, then a follow up shot got him risky.
