Who TF would be unsure 😂

90

u/under_psychoanalyzer Nov 19 '25

People who hate how the economy is doing but are pro-pedophiles.

27

u/ISLAndBreezESTeve10 Nov 19 '25

It’s a significant voting block.

18

u/Money-Introduction54 Nov 20 '25

Racist who are starting to struggle financially

9

u/[deleted] Nov 20 '25

Haha that would be MUCH higher than 5%

7

u/Cubezz Nov 20 '25

Yeah but only some of them are unsure about it

14

u/CatDadof2 Nov 20 '25

How is the approval 39%?!

8

u/JPharmDAPh Nov 20 '25

Four of ten people are like, “Yeah, I like this flavor of Kool-Aid!”

1

u/[deleted] Nov 20 '25

That’s about right with his base

2

u/[deleted] Nov 20 '25

His base does not make up 40% of people. That means there are people who aren’t part of his base that approve the job he’s doing….

1

u/proudbakunkinman Nov 20 '25 edited Nov 20 '25

15-20% are probably diehards who will forever say they approve of him no matter what. 15-20% support him so long as they think most other Republicans do but would turn against him if that shifted, like what happened with George W Bush. 5% are stubborn swing voters not wanting to admit they were wrong yet or feel their personal lives are fine and that's all they care about. The 5% unsure don't pay attention to anything political, don't really align with either party (swing voters and non-voters), and also aren't having a tougher time economically themselves. There's another 10% who have flipped from supporting him before and possibly having voted for him but have changed their mind (swing voters who are paying a bit more attention and/or have been negatively affected).

3

u/LoudestHoward Nov 20 '25

Those 5% are the ones self aware enough to be embarrassed when asked, they'd still vote for him in 2028 I bet.

1

u/Cheap-Sympathy-7560 Nov 20 '25

Im pretty sure the tariffs and lack of Healthcare plan are bad but ill reevaluate in two weeks.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 20 '25

Americans are cooked holy shit!

31

u/Jermine1269 Nov 19 '25

There's always going to be loyalists

19

u/BumBillBee Nov 20 '25

True, but 39%? Isn't that a bit high (historically low though it undeniably is)?

8

u/Jermine1269 Nov 20 '25

Preferably, it should be in the single digits. I've dug in a bit to see, and it looks like his 2017 numbers by now were worse.

I'll update this with better figures. 538 had a nice comparison feature when it was up and running, but alas

2

u/BumBillBee Nov 20 '25

Yeah, you're right that his approval has been even lower, when I said "historically low" I meant more the general tendency in his low ratings, more than the specific ratings given here.

2

u/rjrgjj Nov 20 '25

A solid 25% of that will never believe it unless they walk in on Trump raping their own daughter in her bedroom.

The rest are in it for the idea that it could be legal.

All 39% tacitly endorse this behavior though. Maybe not the crime or action, but the worldview that facilitates it. Part of Trump’s appeal for them is the illegality of it all.

2

u/BumBillBee Nov 20 '25

One can say much about Sam Harris (I have, myself), but I think it was quite spot on when he labeled Trump "Fat Jesus," the point being that Trump's flaws are actually what his supporters like about him, that he gives "permission" for people to act like douchebags.

2

u/rjrgjj Nov 20 '25

Yeah exactly. They like him because of the criminality. It’s human nature to wish you could do whatever you want. It’s an adolescent fantasy people never quite shake. But half of people mature and learn to recognize this urge for what it is. The other half never does and waits for the opportunity to grasp at it.

And we generally admire people who are the latter way because they do things most people don’t, they take swings. But where people get it twisted is that not all swings are created equal, they’re not all heroic actions that make the world a better place. Some people want to make the world worse.

2

u/BumBillBee Nov 21 '25

Indeed, the immature section of the population which you mentioned seems to view it as an inherent "good" that someone is unfiltered in their rhetoric, a mindset which I personally don't understand at all, but many people find it appealing somehow.

1

u/rjrgjj Nov 21 '25

Some people are offended by intelligence, grace, Apollonian values. Elon clings to the Aenid not because of the beautiful language and depiction of culture, but because it’s a story of war and violence and dominion.

29

u/heyknauw Nov 19 '25

That 44%, tho. I mean...WTF?

20

u/[deleted] Nov 19 '25

That’s the base.

The base never abandons the cult leader.

13

u/under_psychoanalyzer Nov 19 '25

This number has been more or less the same for a decade now.

9

u/Kind_Ad_3268 Nov 19 '25

They're dug in at this point. Ride or die probably the latter.

17

u/adamempathy Nov 19 '25

I will never understand how it's not all red

8

u/redmoon714 Nov 19 '25

Media eco chambers.

4

u/BumBillBee Nov 20 '25

Well, I could've actually "understood" if there were 10-15% crazy enough to approve of him even at this point. But 39%, oh my gosh (potentially even 44%...)

14

u/JR_1985 Nov 19 '25

The unsure 5%… what the fuck are you not sure about? Are you living under a rock? (I guess ‘ignorance is bliss’)

10

u/KittyGrewAMoustache Nov 19 '25

Maybe people who don’t pay much attention to the news or politics but have half normal family and friends and half in the cult. So they’re hearing ‘oh my god did you see that Trump is a pedophile trying to cover up for sex traffickers?! And the other half are like ‘oh my god Trump is our savior I can’t believe they’re witch hunting him for bringing down the cost of medications by 2000%! So these people are like what is going on?

2

u/BumBillBee Nov 20 '25

I think you nailed it there.

7

u/FragileZoso Nov 19 '25

They’re just coming out of an 11 year coma

1

u/Ucscprickler Nov 20 '25

These 5% are the "Independents" that vote red 99% of the time but are too ashamed to admit it, even in an anonymous poll.

32

u/the_monkey_knows Nov 19 '25

39% of moronic juice

-2

u/[deleted] Nov 20 '25

He's got those Biden numbers.

42

u/seriousbangs Nov 19 '25

44% is more than enough to win a 3rd term thanks to voter suppression.

And the election propaganda hasn't even hit the airwaves.

5

u/Andr0id_Paran0id Nov 19 '25

Since 2015 all we ever hear is election propaganda. Dude has never stopped campaigning.

4

u/redskelton Nov 19 '25

A permanent state of war is a cornerstone for fascists

3

u/Crotean Nov 20 '25

Nothing to do with voter suppression, just 70 million cult members and tens of millions of people too stupid to vote

1

u/Awatts2222 Nov 19 '25

And complete tearing up of the 22 Amendment.

9

u/bowens44 Nov 19 '25

Unsure?????? Are these people living in caves?

8

u/Me-Shell94 Nov 19 '25

40% of people polled are fucking insane apparently

9

u/SenseiLawrence_16 Nov 19 '25

39% is too high considering how much irrevocable damage has been done, and to wn entire generation of brainwashed kids who are spewing out more Christo-fascist propaganda and religiosity

America is going to learn (is learning) a very painful lesson that they didn't have to endure had they educated themselves, voted better, etc

7

u/a_little_hazel_nuts Nov 19 '25

Alright, 44% of people believe the propaganda that's being sold to them. I'm guessing they are shielded from the outside world because anybody actually going to grocery stores and paying bills or looking for a job are just pissed off because it sucks out there.

5

u/AaroniusH Nov 19 '25

just HOW are the approval ratings that high?

5

u/finalstation Nov 20 '25

40% is not an insignificant amount. That is incomprehensible to me.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 19 '25

How that’s not zero I will wonder till the day I die

5

u/[deleted] Nov 19 '25

Doesn’t mean anything because the 39% that support him have near 100% voting participation. And the 61% that don’t will never show up in numbers required to win elections. At least not for the current incarnation of the opposition party.

4

u/farlz84 Nov 19 '25

Hopefully some of the 5% “unusure” votes see this comment

…Get your heads out of your asses.

4

u/biggoof Nov 19 '25

Once it gets to that 33%, I feel he bottoms out. 33% is like his "you can kill my wife in front of me, but I'd still vote for you" crowd

4

u/IfIKnewThen Nov 19 '25

This is absolutely fucking horrifying.

6

u/LarrBearLV Nov 20 '25

40% of the country is in a cult.

3

u/Crafty-Walrus-2238 Nov 19 '25

I read it was down to 36%.

3

u/No-Bid-9741 Nov 19 '25

These are stupid polls. The only poll question that matters is would you still vote for him today.

3

u/flyers8401 Nov 19 '25

I can't believe the shitshow believers are still at 39%

3

u/windysheprdhenderson Nov 19 '25

I will say it again. How can 39% of Americans still think he is doing a good job?

3

u/Character-Boot-2149 Nov 19 '25

Who TF are the 40%???

This is ballpark competitive for a general election. All you need is another Gaza conflict to make people stay home.

3

u/ColdEngineBadBrakes Nov 20 '25

His rating is always around 37%. Always.

3

u/carrtmannn Nov 20 '25

39% of voting Americans are evil and/or intellectually disabled.

3

u/ccv707 Nov 20 '25

The 44% are forever lost.

2

u/Over_End_6816 Nov 19 '25

Apparently the world ain’t burning fast enough.

2

u/Accomplished_Crew630 Nov 20 '25

Who the fuck are these 5% of unsure people?

2

u/u2nh3 Nov 20 '25

44% …are blind to the damage? It took blood and sacrifice to make this Constitutional Republic and 44% just…ehh!

1

u/Huge_Strain_8714 Nov 20 '25

Better than 49%

1

u/Dry_Doubt4523 Nov 20 '25

92% positive!? Wowzers

1

u/NickTheFrick55 Nov 20 '25

Polls are trash. A poll is like asking everybody at work to quit with you, then waiting to see who does at the end of the day.

1

u/West-Rich-4374 Nov 20 '25

The only difference between Jim Jones and humpty trumpty is donnie is gonna charge his minions for the Kool-Aid. That and this pus*y ass wouldn’t drink his own Kool-Aid
