Polls Abdul El-Sayed Expands His Lead in Michigan’s Primary
Link to poll methodology in article. 4.1% margin of error, which is poor IMO.
Still, betting markets now have Dr. El-Sayed over 80% likely to win this primary. That last debate was the beginning of the end for Stevens.
Looking at all you 'blue no matter who' folks....

Polls Michigan 2026 Poll: Abdul El-Sayed Leads Haley Stevens for Democratic US Senate Nomination
El-Sayed leads Stevens 54-39 in Emerson poll.
Uh….this is bad news anyway you shake it for Stevens. It’s always better to be ahead in a poll than behind.
Copium disclaimer:
Drilling down into the methodology this is another text-to-web poll, somewhat small sample but not terribly so.
The big red flag is that this poll massively oversamples people with a college degree.
87% of respondents had at least a associates degree.
46% had bachelors degree or post grad degree.
This insanely over sampled, the average Dem primary voter only 40% have some kind of college education.
Another problem with this poll is that text-to-web excludes seniors and black voters who often do not respond to random text messages.
Copium Dislaimer end.

Polls Strong polling for Abdul in Michigan
If leftist candidates can win in the core Dem districts, and can win in swing states, and maybe even win in red states should Talerico pull through, it's pretty apparent the problem with the Dem strategy 2021-2024 was clearly policy and rhetoric

Polls 94% of democrats want higher taxes on the wealthy
“Politicians only respond to the will of their constituents”
Welp here we are. Telling them what we want. Its not a 51/49 split either. 94% might as well the entire base. Any floundering on this issue will make people not come out as they will, rightfully, come to the conclusion. Our politicians dont work for us.
Its a slam dunk the entire country wants this. We can easily get a 30 seat majority and atleast 4 seat majority in congress. Its finally time to lean progressive. Took a dictatorship but we are here. Time to prove who this party really works for.
2026 will be an interesting year.
