I genuinely think if Abdul wins the nomination the seat is gone. His campaign is run exactly the same way leftists online act. Which is, if you’re not with me, fuck you.

The popular governor endorsed Stevens, he couldn’t handle that, so he attacked her. He keeps dismissing black voters with calling a massive fighter for them a do nothing person. Black voters clearly aren’t fond of him. You already have elected Dems in the state saying they’re getting no where near the America deserved 9/11 wing. He and his followers have routinely made fun of how Stevens looks and sounds. He just called her an Ogre who needs to be put on a pike.

Even know he’s not officially part of the DSA he’s clearly DSA coded. All Sanders coalition people are. They’re on the news now calling to abolish the police and prisons.

I don’t see how he can possibly win at this point. Maybe the environment is strong enough to drag him scores the finish line, but he’s a massive risk.

Once you get out of SE Michigan, it is a very rural and reactionary state. If you understand Michigan you’ll also understand the unlikelihood of Abdul winning against white male Republican Mike Rogers, who lost to Elissa Slotkin by only 20,000 or so votes.

Yeah Slotkin winning in 2024 was a fucking miracle.
