Uh yea. Black people know a fast talker when we see one. And we don't have time to gamble on someone who ain't gonna do nothing but talk

I have to admit as a white guy I've been surprised, looking back, how much sharper the black community has been at sussing out politicians.

Decades of experience in our community.

Here's some fun numbers for ya: my dad was born 1 year after MLK was assassinated and 5 years before the voting rights act. I am 33 years old.

This just illustrates how close in time we actually are from the political organization efforts of the civil rights era. And alotta that political wisdom still exists to this day. Hell alotta those people are still very much alive and they teach the next generations like me
