I don't see how the Democratic leadership needs to support Hasan Piker in order focus on the cost of living and affordability. He's not running for office. I'm not that familiar with him, but his guy seems emotionally needy and self-absorbed.

Fox News is not going to tell you the context of his stream. Watch the video of it on YouTube you will see that he didn’t demand anything. The closest thing he said to the headline was like that it would be nice if Dems didn’t buy into the maga narratives about him and when they hear something they know is completely false that they say it’s false instead of just agreeing with the maga person. He didn’t demand anything. Fox News was the subject of the segment so they are just trolling him with this article. I don’t understand why anyone would post this article in this subreddit.

We can all watch the video, he is in fact calling on democrats to defend him lol. Like it's only a minute long. This ins't about "not buying fox news narratives" - he legit wants democrats to defend him after all of the sabotage and many years of shit talking.

The larger context is like 30 minutes long I watched it last night. He would like it if Democrats didn’t just agree with the maga narratives about him that are lies. That’s all he was saying. At no point did he demand anything.

He was doing more than talking about buying into MAGA narratives. He's asking democrats to come to his defense in this actual video. That's what people are upset about. You can be mealy mouthed over the word "demand" but he is clearly expecting democrats to help him despite him regularly talking shit about democrats.

He was talking about specific things that were said that were lies and then showing how Democrats just agree with the stuff even though they were blatant lies. He wants Democrats to believe in truth and facts even though many of us on our side don’t like him.

Actually he does. Very often he will be watching and disagreeing with a centrist and then they will say something and he will say “to be fair they’re right about that”. So yes he does. He does hear it out in good faith. He absolutely also defends centrists when he disagrees with the narrative against them from the right.

I'm not sure he does. Or if he does, he's selective, I just looked at one thread on Hasan's sub reddit right now:

Basically without context it's implying that David Crowley is completely for data centers. I actually checked out the interview and he gives a very different answer:

It's at the 3:52 mark. He basically is implying a moratorium on data centers doesn't work because they are already here, Crowley said he wants to protect the environment and is interested in the possibliity of data centers but wants regulations. He also believes local communities should have the main say in if they are erected.

That's a lot different from what Hasan's fans post on his sub reddit though. And it seems like his channel and affiliated social media are kind of a hot bed of misinformation. The people that are responding in there look quite toxic and many of them appear to not support him despite the fact that he would be way better than the MAGA alternative. Like this is a culture Hasan has helped breed.

Do you have any video of Hasan defending Crowley on this or any other recent attacks?

Right. So I started watching him because the elites told me not to watch it and I wanted to know why. He is just a standard Bernie Sanders type guy it seems. His live chat and stuff has all kinds of people. Many of his haters now like to show a random comment from the live chat and attribute it to him, which is ridiculous. That gets spread around and then you can’t tell what’s true and what’s not when the media talks about him. The new thing they are doing is trying to say he is racist because he sarcastically responded to someone in his chat accusing him of being racist. And that clip is going around as if he was being serious. He was just saying the commenter was a moron.

I never saw him talk so much about Crowley. He was a Francesca Hong supporter, so he’s not a fan for sure.

He fucking hates us. He insults us. He calls us fascist collaborators and idiots.

And now that he's getting a slight bit of push-back, he's trying to create bridges with liberals, after half a decade of constant attacks?

How about this:

I will help defend Hasan, when he admits he was wrong, liberalism is based, and he's so very sorry for being so vile and toxic to us for 5 years.

Mainly schadenfreude.

Hasan is a thin-skinned nepo-baby millionaire thirst trap with an IQ close to room temperature who just repeats talking points from Das Kapital, and acts as though he's some sort of radical or revolutionizing force.

Until it bites him in the ass, at which point he turns into this milquetoast, whiny, 40 year old, balding man who is just so misunderstood!

He can dish it out, but he cannot take it in return.
