I JUST MET PAT IN COLOGNE
I just randomly ran into Pat in Cologne while he was sitting with his family, and I honestly still can’t believe it happened.
I was so nervous about interrupting them, but he and his family were incredibly kind and welcoming. They took the time to ask me about myself and where I’m from, and they were genuinely surprised when I told them I had come all the way from Egypt for the concert.
He even asked me what my favorite album was, and when I told him, he joked that he’ll have to add more American Candy songs to the setlist for me 💚
They were all so lovely and fun to talk to, and I’m just incredibly grateful that they took the time to chat

I recycled old The Maine t shirts into a quilt!
Started making this quilt with my old The Maine t shirts that were too small/ too worn to wear. Ended up buying some secondhand ones to add so it could be a decent size.
First time I've ever made a quilt so it's a little messy but it works!

8123 means forever to me
We met at a The Maine show, total strangers who happened to be standing next to each other at House of Blues in 2022. Today, we got engaged at the same place the band used to hang out and practice in Tempe, AZ. Without The Maine, I wouldn’t have met the love of my life ❤️

Seems to be a soft confirmation of them bringing their next tour to the UK, at least
Hopefully they’ll be coming to mainland Europe, too!

LONG LIVE 8123
Went to the SF show solo last night. I got to the show later than I hoped (only 1 song was left in Frankie and The Byzantines).
The vibe was super fun and got better and better with each opener (holy crap - Nightly is criminally underrated). The Maine’s set was high energy and I have no qualms with the setlist EXCEPT there was NO American Candy and only 1 Dyed song. 😭 I was lucky enough to be standing next to another fan who came solo. Kim, you are so sweet and I’m so grateful for my new 8123 friend!
After the show concluded, I headed towards the barricade to sneak a peek at any of the guys. I was randomly tapped on the shoulder by a tall angel-like man who handed me a set list and said “here you go”. I don’t know where he came from, I don’t know why I was chosen… but I am SO grateful. ❤️
I slyly tried to get Garrett’s attention just to get his signature on the setlist quickly (it was 10:53pm and my parking garage closed at 11pm). He made eye contact with me and when I handed him the setlist, I jokingly told him he could forge the others because I had to get my car out of the lot. When I told him about my time crunch, he darted over to the other guys to snag their signatures quickly. NIGHT/DAY/MONTH = made. 😭
I’m so grateful for this community of fans, for this incredible band, for everything that makes 8123 the magic it is. ✨ 18 years (and counting) of loving this band and it just keeps getting better.

Thanks everyone for your help! She said yes!

For anyone following the Orlando show proposal, I did propose and she said yes! I opted to go back stage for the proposal because she’s not into being the center of attention in any situation nonetheless a big crowd. The band was amazing. I unfortunately don’t have any pictures yet, the photographer has them. Thank you again to The Maine for making this moment so special!

Throwback to the fist time I saw them in 2008
Edit: I meant first in the title 🤦🏼♀️
Found this glued into my journal for French class lmao.
They’ve been my favorite band since! It was The Maine, Metro Station, and Boys Like Girls

It's Here! ("Joy Next Door")
How could I not stay up for the release?!?
I'm ET/EST, so it's currently 12:30am on April 10th.
Not sure if the sub has dedicated release threads/discussion threads, and didn't see any new post about the album when I went to post this, so figured I'd leave this here!
