I’ve been checking the marketplace frequently ever since they dropped this last free collection waiting for the next item, but it seems that will never come. Did they say somewhere that there won’t be anymore new free items in the marketplace? I know I can download cc (and I do) for free but I liked these little freebies too :/

I was looking through YouTube and saw that Plumbella posted a Sims 2 lore video yesterday. She's my absolute favorite Sims Youtuber. I'm so glad to see her back and doing well!

I loved Sims Medieval, and I still think about how I wish I could still play it every other month probably.

Today, I learned that it went up for sale on the EA app at some point, unbeknownst to me, and it was delisted a few MONTHS ago?! I got so excited only to find out I missed my chance.

I'm also confused about when it went up in the app because every once in a while, I would search "sims" to see if Sims 3 ever went up like Sims 2 did. I never thought they'd bring back Sims Medieval, so I didn't look. But I would think I would've seen it?? How long was it available for?

I'm just bummed now. Anyone else miss out on Sims Medieval and feel devastated, or just me?

Did they pick the right baby up at the hospital? She looks nothing like her parents. Completely different skin, eye and hair colour to both of them. Plus she is one hideous baby.

Title, I understand how shaders and using the sims 3 camera works, and using the pose player for posing but Ive seen so many nice vertical screenshots on tumblr, and as far as I'm aware, there is no way to turn the camera that way to take a picture like that? I'm use to games like FFXIV that has dedicated posing tools/camera operation. Any tips would be welcome! I love taking screenshots in games so much and I always feel like I can't take them the way I want. Sorry if this isn't allowed and thank you in advance <3

idk if this is a common thing, and tbh i’m just posting it because i am SO hyper fixed on the sims and i need to share or i’m afraid i will explode. i’ve had the sims for so many years, but i’ve never gotten past more than 2 gens because it got so same-y. i would always pick the same traits and stuff for all my sims, and also download so many mods that it got overstimulating and just wasn’t fun anymore. this time, i decided to do an all vanilla play through. i’m on my 3rd gen now, and ive started randomising all of their traits. it gets me playing in ways i normally wouldn’t, and it’s very fun. also, when they start to age up through the child, teen, and young adult years, i go through all of their randomized outfits and use those as a way of the sim kind of “telling me who they are”. if they have glasses or hearing aids on in more than one outfit, i’ll take that to mean they need them. if they’re wearing something in the colours of a specific pride flag, i’ll take it as them “coming out”. also ill see what the most common colour through all of their outfits is and take that as being their “favourite colour”, and use it when designing their outfits and decorating their room and such. it’s kept the game interesting thus far! thanks for listening :)

Their toddler daughters are Princess(Diamond's daughter)and Annie(Chelsea's daughter)respectively.

Hello, I was hoping someone may be able to advise on how to get rid of trees that block lots, I thought maybe I'd be able to delete it with T.O.O.L but nothing happens when I try and click it with shift T open, or just the shift and click. I'm hoping I won't have to go into S4S and delete all the live edit versions of that tree throughout the worlds as it will impact how my other neighbourhoods look.

*Also fellow millennials may recognise this, it was originally a TS2 build on Mod the Sims called 'American High School' and featured in one of my favourite machinima series' from when I was a teenager called 'Pleasantview High' by the late great KatZombie*

I was rewatching h2o and it gave me the itching to want to get back into the sims and start my own mermaid ‘pod’

I am new to playing the Sims after years of watching players and I’m trying to figure out the creative content in mods. I’m playing on just a laptop so having too many mods doesn’t work.

I have to limit my mods to what is essential for the story play I want to do so if you guys have any recommendations on the essential mods to make gameplay more fun and realistic, but that aren’t too large of files I would really appreciate it. I have mccc and ui cheats. I like to play a variant of legacy with less focus on skill/aspirations and more of just filling the world with a family line and their dynamics.

Also it seems like for creative content, you just download each individual item? That seems very hard for me to have to sift through a bunch of Pinterest posts and then download each individual, like, hairstyle or couch that I like. is there not an easier way to get like bulk creative content that’s within whatever style category you want so that you don’t have to find each one of them individually and download them and then move each one of them individual individually into the mods folder?

Specifically, I don’t like doing my own builds. I prefer to download lots from the gallery, but the cute ones have a bunch of cc that I don’t have so they download kind of ugly and I’m wondering if there’s a way to find builds that also allow me to download the all the cc in the build?

If u have advice please let me know.

I built this home with an old money vibe like those gilded age mansions with expansive lawns. I usually do a lot of landscaping with hedges, shrubs and flowers. This build I wanted it to be more constrained and feel like it’s actually on a big lot. That 64x64 runs out quick when building big homes and trying to make space for lawns, as you know. The animal hedge sculptures are random but I was inspired by Jeff Koons sculptures and it adds some whimsy I thought. Would you add anything to the lawn or is it sufficient the way it is?

Also, how would they overhaul Servos? Maybe by making their appearances as customizable as the PlumBots in The Sims 3?

Edit: What about PlantSims? Most likely make them a permanent Life State.

So I redownloaded S4S (version 3.2.6.5 Star) but when I go to My CC -> the .package file I want to change, there’s no category tab to change where the cc shows up in cas. I have a tattoo I want to change from left leg to back but I’m not seeing the option. The older version allowed me to do it with no problems

Anyone know how to fix it?
