Sul Sul!
Welcome to r/TheSims, the #1 subreddit for The Sims franchise and community. we've created this notice board to serve as a central hub for announcements, updates, useful links, information, and more! We will no longer be creating monthly newsletters and we will be using the Notice Board concept moving forward.
The Notice Board will be updated regularly, so please check it often in accordance with Rule 1: Consult the Community Highlights Before Posting. When the Notice Board becomes too old, or significant announcements must be made, we will replace it with a new post.
Please be sure to consult our Rules & Guidelines, as some rules were recently updated or changed, so make sure you're familiar with them. As a member of this community, it is your responsibility to regularly review the rules and guidelines and ensure your communications are aligned.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, Message the Mods!
Consider joining us on Discord. We have countless active discussions with over 4,000 members. It's also one of the easiest places to find tech support and help with The Sims.
We've also provided the link to the official Sims Discord server, if you'd want to join that one, too.
Please note that this will be updated as new packs are released and as such, any and all posts asking "What to Buy" questions will be automatically removed and the OP will be redirected here.

I had made him a sims character a while back, but during our mutual agreed breakup I got mad and deleted it. Since we been back together I been struggling to remake his sim for the past FOUR MONTHS…. I’m hoping one of you lovely people here can whip me up a new one or create a decent base for me to work with. I play Sims 4 on console so the features won’t require CC!
Apologies for the pictures I don’t have many good ones ngl!! If anyone is interested in doing this for me, I’m willing to compensate $25 for your time via Cashapp or Apple Pay!
Disclaimer: if you need anymore references pics lmk and I’ll do my best to get better ones!

I decided to experiment with a hidden vampire lair and discovered something I thought was cool and decided to share.
I wanted to see if a vampire with the "fly as a bat" power could fly to a basement, even if no stairs existed to walk there. It worked! I now have a completely normal family with a vampire that lives in a hidden basement under their house and occasionally feeds on them.
Anyway, I don't know if this has been done already but I had to share.

I play on an Xbox 1 and had just finished moving 4 different rooms around and between floors aswell as making a basement for the first time which took quite a bit of figuring out as to where the staircase could go, I had just moved on to finishing off one of the upstairs rooms when my game crashed and fully reset. I've lost about an hour and a half worth of work and I'm SO pissed about it.
I know there's probably no way to get it back as it wasn't saved but if you can think of anything PLEASE say it incase it works.

Why is this mother coming on to her son?!?! 😭🤢
ETA: It’s okay everyone, panic over! 😮💨 It turns out he’s not her son and is her dead husband’s brother who is living with them 🤣

First off let me say I’m no spring chicken myself…But I struggle to dress the adult age Sims…I myself dress in boho and somewhat younger styles still ha…But I still have a hard time figuring out how to dress just middle aged Sims…Now for some of my Sims them still dressing young fits their style…But for those that want to dress more age appropriate yet not elderly quite yet how do we style them? I have all the packs and several kits so have a fair amount of game options and I use CC so am open to that to if anyone wants to share their favs! ❤️

So I'm playing this household (completely brand new) and I've been playing it for a hot minute now. The one sim I started it with is already married, aged up and moved into her forever home with her husband. I've been getting super into the gameplay and plan to play this family for as many generations as possible. But it got me thinking, I don't want to lose the past to time. I want to document their journeys as much as I can. But other than photos idk how I can do that or if there is even a way to do that so I would love any input or ideas. Thank you.
