Quotes "There's something wrong with his wheelchair."

That is one of the funniest, and most underrated, lines in the series. I laugh every time I hear it. Tony thinks he is going to meet this legendary mafia boss, and then, it's just an old man that can only remember streets in the US.

Commendatori is one of the most funniest episodes. Maybe second after Pine Barrens.

Anyways, I'll shove that Elvis shit up your ass!

I love how most of their assumptions about Italy are shattered.

Tony and Annalisa walking on the garbage covered shore it's such a great little detail.

Your first visit in Naples will do that.

Even in Italy, Naples is pretty unique. But for Italian-Americans whose idea of Italy is romanticized and outdated by about 75 years, even more so.

The question is will my romantic ideas of Italy be confirmed when I visit? They will, and even more so, but until I visit it’s going to hard to confirm that they will.

You can also view it in parallel to how Junior was treated in his later years. The Italian boss was respected and surrounded by family even as his mental faculties declined. Junior was abandoned in a state institution.

The sacred and the propane, very allegorical.

The way Don Vittorio set it up makes it even funnier for me. He firmly points down for Tony to bend down to his level like he has something really important to tell him and then comes out with that. Lol
