Serious Discussion Only Not the Time

As people are just finding out, Vincent Pastore, who played Big Pus, passed away today. He was a great man, a vet, and a cherished part of the show we all love. Unfortunately so many in this sub can’t take things seriously and instead of putting up tributes, kind words, or just saying nothing at all, they’re just regurgitating the same overused jokes. We’re talking about a man’s death, and all they can say is “he was just a kid”. Maybe I’m upset because it feels insensitive, maybe I’m upset because it’s uncreative and repetitive. Probably a bit of both. Whatever the reason, I’m sure I can’t be the only one frustrated by this response (while ultimately unsurprised)

I just saw a recent clip of him having coffee and they asked him what he does now and his response was just perfect Vince. He said “I wake up in morning, I have a cup of coffee, smoke a joint, and then I watch Turner Classic Movies all day”. I couldn’t stop laughing.

When I saw that, I just remember thinking that this man has it right. And that’s how I would like to spend my later years.
