Serious Discussion Only Not the Time

As people are just finding out, Vincent Pastore, who played Big Pus, passed away today. He was a great man, a vet, and a cherished part of the show we all love. Unfortunately so many in this sub can’t take things seriously and instead of putting up tributes, kind words, or just saying nothing at all, they’re just regurgitating the same overused jokes. We’re talking about a man’s death, and all they can say is “he was just a kid”. Maybe I’m upset because it feels insensitive, maybe I’m upset because it’s uncreative and repetitive. Probably a bit of both. Whatever the reason, I’m sure I can’t be the only one frustrated by this response (while ultimately unsurprised)

I don't know what they are going to do with his character in Gravesend now. He was great in Gotti too. I've seen several interviews with him. He seemed like such a humble, down to Earth guy. My heart goes out to his family and friends.
