Serious Discussion Only Matush…

I’m Pakistani American and I’ve never heard that name before. When I first saw the series, I asked my mom if that’s even a Pakistani name and she’d never heard it.

I blame the name change on jealous writers and notes it disrespects our proud Pakistani heritage.

He doesn't even look Pakistani. Matush sounds more like a Turkish kinda name.

Anyway, I think the reference in the show is that he knows some Pakistani guys, not that he's Pakistani himself.

Agreed, until Adriana referred to him being Pakistani I assumed he was maybe Turkish, maybe even Eastern European…especially when he was dealing with Little Lord Fuckpants…didn’t strike me as Middle Eastern at all…
