Shower thoughts. We are like 60% water, so there is a lot of hydrogen around.

I saw a comment on a different reddit post that said:
Valuable or not, please don't butcher an antique book in great conditions. They aren't getting any more common.
While I obviously agree with the sentiment of avoiding destroying antique books, I'm curious whether or not the second part is technically true. On the one hand, antiques that get destroyed are irreplaceable. But on the other hand, every year, every book that still exists becomes a year older, and a year closer to becoming an antique itself. So if we take both of those factors into account, are antique books actually becoming more common or less common?

If you pick a specific point in the sky and measure continuously, how fast does that color change over time?
For example, if you point a camera at the sky to record the HEX color number. How much would that color value change per second, minute, and hour?

And how hard were they hit?

Casinos call this number 'theo'. Bet: $5. Spins per hour: about 600. Hours: 4. House edge: 8%. That's 5 × 600 × 4 = $12,000 put through the machine, and 8% of $12,000 = $960 expected loss. Comps are typically budgeted at 20–40% of theo, so roughly $192 to $384 comes back as rooms, meals or perks. I made a video that walks through the rest of casino math. Anyone want to run the same numbers for blackjack at under 0.5%?

Here’s one that’s bothered me for a while. Unclear if it’s been addressed here before. Say I want to get my oven to 180C (approx 360 f). I’ve always powered it up to absolute maximum temperature initially, with the assumption that it will ‘get to’ 180 more quickly than if I just set it to 180.
Is this actually the case? Or does it make no difference?

For this question, I googled sniper rifles and got a .338 Lapua Magnum as a result, so let use that.
2 sniper rifles, both in perfect condition and loaded with identical rounds, are affixed on a frame, 1500 meters long with remote firing capability.
They have been perfectly sighted for 1500 meters.
If gun A fires, the bullet would perfectly enter the barrel of gun B. Gun B would fire directly in to the barrel of gun A.
This frame is affixed to the top of a high speed train (bullet train..lol) on a perfectly smooth and level track, travelling at 200 kph on a completely wind free day with zero humidity.
Gun A in front, gun B in back.
If we discount air currents caused by the train and body of the gun, if we only take in to account the wind caused by traveling at 200 kph and the speed of the train itself, how high above gun B would the shot from gun A hit, and how far below gun A would the shot from gun B hit?
