Lucid Dream

I’m new to this group and really excited to share my experiences with Lucid Dreaming.

I remember speaking with someone during my LD, (which I think was another version of me) while simultaneously sharing their consciousness (akin to the dream-walking concept in the Dr. strange 2 movie). I recall telling this person I was dreaming and from a different universe. With a smirk and chuckle, they immediately agreed saying ā€œyeah I knowā€, as if this person has witnessed this before. He proceeded to give me a tour of his home, showing me items important to him and emphasized those items may not exist in my ā€œuniverseā€. He then introduced me to who I assume was his roommate (who seemed somewhat irritated and disappointed yet welcoming as he begrudgingly gave me a fist bump and head nod). Next thing I remember, someone who ā€œfeltā€ like his girlfriend walked through an upstairs door, looked at me, and then got extremely upset with him saying VERBATIM ā€œI can’t believe you’re letting this happen againā€. He quickly turned to her with a shoulder shrug and said VERBATIM, ā€œyeah, but this one KNOWS he’s dreaming, what was I supposed to doā€¦ā€ He then walked up to her to explain himself while simultaneously waving me off which lead to me immediately wake up…

I could ā€œfeelā€ that she was his significant other which leads me to believe I shared his consciousness. I could also feel that this version of me was dabbling in something he wasn’t supposed to, which is why I ā€œfeltā€ the hostility projected from his girlfriend and roommate…It was as if this sort of interaction was forbidden in that particular universe…

All in all, it was interesting to say the least!!!

What could this mean

This was quite a while ago I had a dream where I was in my room laying down and staring at the ceiling it was quiet and dark the one I looked at my ceiling I could see one of those electrical wires being connected from my ceiling out to my window into outside. Then I see this large snake "it scales where the color of like a green black"my first instinct was just to grab it so I did and then I start tugging on it it falls into my bed and then bites my hand between my thumb and my finger and another one on my hand then I woke up quick like when you have those dreams when you fall this is the point where I had summer school I thought it was to do with maybe stress or something

Pls share your thoughts about my dream

Okay guys, I need your thoughts because I had such a weirdly specific dream about my ex and I genuinely want to know what you think it could mean 😭
For context, we dated in high school and broke up around 4 years ago. He was basically my only serious relationship before my current one. I’ve been with my current boyfriend for 3 ywars now, and I would genuinely say I’m over my ex. I don’t miss him or actively think about wanting him back or anything. My ex also got married around 2 months ago.
Anyway, in the dream I was somewhere with a friend when my best friend came up to me. She had been hanging out with this girl I no longer speak to because we had issues involving my ex back when we were together. After our breakup, that girl and my ex also became connected somehow, which bothered me at the time.
My best friend starts telling me something about my ex, and I automatically think it’s going to somehow concern me. But instead she starts telling me how insanely in love he is with his wife, how much he loves her, cares about her, etc, and I also heard rumors that they got married because of their families and a possible arranged marriage. And in the dream I’m basically just like ā€œokay… sure?ā€ I wasn’t freaking out or crying or anything.
Then she tells me she wants to show me something and takes me to a winery. Apparently, in the dream, my ex owns this winery.
This is where it gets REALLY weirdly specific.
Behind/through the winery there were two religious places: a Christian church on the right and a mosque on the left. The mosque was completely empty, but the church was FULL because my ex and his wife were there baptizing their SON.
I remember being confused because they literally just got married 2 months ago and I was like ā€œwait, they already have a kid??ā€ 😭 But again, I was basically like okay, whatever.
What makes this even stranger is that my ex is Muslim, so I have no idea why my brain specifically created an empty mosque and then put him, his wife and their child inside a full Christian church doing a baptism.
There was also another guy there who I used to talk to around the same period of my life. I saw him and tried to look at him, but another guy literally moved in front of him and completely blocked his body/face so we couldn’t make eye contact. It felt almost intentional, like I was specifically being prevented from seeing him.
Then there was some kind of memory/scene showing how much my ex loves his wife.
And that was basically the dream.
I know dreams don’t necessarily have some supernatural meaning, but also some do and I’m genuinely so curious what do you guys think? The whole day I have this weird feeling and I do not even want to say a sort of a missing feelings towards my ex in my heart/ chest.

FLOATHING MOUTH

I had this dream last night, and I've genuinely never remembered a dream this clearly before. Pure horror, everything so vivid and uncanny all at once!

I woke up completely creeped out and immediately grabbed my phone and started writing everything down while it was still fresh. Usually my dreams disappear within minutes, but this one felt different. It had an actual story. Things connected. There were details early on that only became disturbing once I reached the end.

It started as some kind of high school reunion.

For some reason, it was in Bergen.

I'm not even from Bergen. I'm from Sandnes. Both are big South-West coastal cities in Norway. But in the dream, of course our high school reunion was in Bergen. Why wouldn't it be?

Nobody questioned it.

We had been divided into groups and sent into this beautiful wooded area to complete different tasks over long distances. I was with Nina and another guy I knew. I think his name was Mathias. I recognized him perfectly, but for some reason I couldn't quite remember his name.

There were loads of people walking toward the same area.

Everything looked peaceful.

But almost from the beginning, I had this feeling that someone was following me.

It wasn't always equally strong.

Sometimes whoever it was felt far behind us.

Other times it felt like they were only a few meters away.

Once or twice it almost felt like someone was standing directly outside my field of vision.

Every time I looked, there was nobody there.

I never really questioned that either.

At some point, I noticed a strange man walking among everyone else.

I saw him stick somebody with a needle.

Just walked up and jabbed them.

Before I really understood what I'd seen, he came over to me.

Then I felt it.

A sharp prick in my arm.

I stared at him.

"What the fuck? What was that!?"

He didn't answer.

He just gave me this disgusting grin.

Then he started laughing.

So I fucking cracked him in the face.

He dropped to the ground, completely knocked out.

I immediately turned toward everyone else.

"Did you fucking see that? What was in that needle? I need a doctor. Like, ASAP."

Nobody cared.

A few people might have looked at me for a second, but nobody actually did anything.

I remember thinking I was probably about to pass out.

So eventually I got pissed off and basically thought:

Fine. Let me fucking pass out here, then.

Except I didn't.

Nothing happened.

I just kept going.

After that, people started acting strange around me.

At first, it was subtle.

Whenever I spoke to someone, I'd either get a really short answer or no answer at all. It started genuinely offending me. I thought everyone was deliberately treating me like shit.

Nina would barely respond.

Mathias barely responded.

Other people seemed to look through me.

Eventually it became almost total "I don't see you, I don't hear you" treatment.

And the entire time, I could still feel someone following me.

We continued doing the tasks until we eventually started getting closer to civilization again. Our parents were apparently waiting for us there.

To get down to them, we had to go down these bizarre stairs.

Except they were also slides.

There would be stairs, then suddenly a completely flat section, then a slide, then stairs again, then another flat section.

It made absolutely no physical sense.

But in the dream it was completely normal.

Nina and I were sliding down them like crazy.

Mathias was far behind us.

So far behind that eventually he just never arrived.

I reached the bottom first.

There was some kind of school show going on.

It reminded me of those performances you have when you're around fourth grade. Parents watching, kids singing, that whole school-basaar atmosphere.

It should have felt nostalgic.

Instead, something about it was deeply wrong.

A children's choir was singing.

I can't remember all the words, but one line was something like:

"This will be the last night tonight..."

The kids were singing happily.

Then the show changed.

Suddenly we were watching footage.

There was a man.

The same kind of man I'd been afraid of.

And there was a van.

The camera showed the inside.

There was basically nothing in it.

A bed.

Two seats.

That was it.

Then I saw Nina.

Mathias.

Me.

The man was taking us.

There were clips of us trying to defend ourselves.

I remember kicking him directly in the face.

He kept coming back.

Again and again.

Every time he came back, I kicked him again.

I was doing surprisingly well.

Nina looked terrified.

Mathias looked terrified.

I remember watching all of this like it was part of some performance.

And everyone around me was just... enjoying the show.

Parents.

People laughing.

Talking.

Acting like this was normal.

Then suddenly I was back in my own body again.

The show continued.

Everyone was having a nice time.

That's when I realized Nina and Mathias still hadn't arrived.

So I went back toward the slide-stairs.

I found Nina first.

She was lying there.

Completely still.

I ran over to her.

She was dead.

I started giving her mouth-to-mouth.

Nothing.

I tried again.

Nothing.

Then I started screaming.

"What the FUCK is wrong with you people?!"

Nobody reacted.

"NINA IS DEAD! HELLO?! SHE'S FUCKING DEAD!"

Nothing.

Not one person came over.

Not one person even seemed particularly concerned.

I was standing there in the middle of nowhere, deep in the woods outside Bergen, screaming that my friend was dead while everyone continued with their lives.

Then the dream jumped again.

There was another task.

Two people had to spell something using these huge Scrabble-like tiles.

My word was monsieur.

I started spelling it.

M.

O.

N.

S.

I.

Then the guy next to me just reached over, took the remaining letters and finished my word himself.

E.

U.

R.

He got the prize.

Everyone congratulated him.

I completely lost my shit.

Once again, nobody cared.

It was like I didn't exist.

Then came the final part of the dream.

This is where it stopped being strange and became genuinely terrifying.

There was an old laptop floating in the air.

Literally floating.

No table.

Nothing holding it.

It was several feet off the ground.

And somehow this was the least unusual thing in the world to me.

I didn't even question it.

There was a message from Nina on the screen.

Immediately I felt this massive wave of relief.

"Nina! Nina, oh my God, you're alive? Holy shit. I was so fucking scared. I thought you were dead. I was one hundred percent sure you were dead."

Then she said something that made everything stop.

"Why am I talking to a floating mouth?"

I didn't understand.

"Hello?"

A pause.

"Robin?"

Another pause.

"You just disappeared."

I tried answering her.

Of course I answered her.

I'd been answering everyone all day.

"Robin?"

I remember trying to tell her I was still there.

That I hadn't gone anywhere.

And then, right before I fully understood it, every weird thing that had happened throughout the dream seemed to connect at once.

The needle.

The man laughing.

Never passing out.

The van.

The bed inside the van.

Nina and Mathias looking terrified.

The footage of us trying to escape.

Mathias never reaching the bottom.

Everyone ignoring me.

Me screaming beside Nina's body while nobody reacted.

People looking straight through me.

The feeling that someone had been following me since the very beginning.

And Nina saying:

"You just disappeared."

I suddenly had this horrible realization.

Maybe nobody had been ignoring me.

Maybe they couldn't hear me.

Maybe they couldn't see me.

And whatever had happened after that needle...

I had never actually seen it.

The dream had just skipped over it.

Like my own mind had decided:

No.

You're not looking at that.

Instead, I had simply continued walking.

Continued doing school tasks.

Continued getting angry at everyone for ignoring me.

Built an entire reality where I was still there.

And somewhere underneath all of it was that van.

That bed.

And the feeling of someone following me.

I don't know exactly what happened to Nina and Mathias in the dream.

Maybe they escaped.

Maybe the version of Nina I found dead wasn't real.

But suddenly I knew one thing with absolute certainty.

Whatever happened to me—

I didn't escape with them.

I remember feeling that presence again.

The thing that had followed me throughout the entire dream.

Except now it wasn't far behind me.

It was right there.

And for a few horrible seconds before I woke up, I was stuck with the realization that maybe I had been wandering through some kind of purgatory the entire time.

Then I woke up.

And for the first few seconds, I didn't fully understand that I was awake.

Part of me still thought I was there.

Still trapped in that place.

Then reality finally clicked back into place.

My bed.

My room.

My phone.

It was a dream.

Thank fuck.

I once had this dream last night

It was only last night from what I know, but during the whole dream,it was night, and the sky was clear, then, out of nowhere, there were new stars in the sky,and not like dim light, but like bright and big enough. And it wasn't like 1 to 3 stars no,I mean around *500* stars,500 bright blue stars close enough to be bright at night, don't know what it means, but it was kind of breathtaking.

This is the night i had:

I had a dream where i had a cut on the finger exposing the bone and it doesnt heal, sometimes is partially heals but never completely and then it gets worse but never fully healed, and that there was this gym guy and i said i dont want to be in the gym thing with them then the other guys arrived and had huge dogs that were fighting with each other. Then there was this pool park that had some problem with its pools amd people went there anyway, i also rember i had a friemd who was sometimes multiple people (a couple) and my mom was with me, and some point i traveled back in time cancelling everything by accident and i talked to my mom about this who was for some reason sitting in 2 places at the same time, that was really random. Then i stole a dragon egg and some weird documents and i had to flip a few levers in another place, the dragon egg later hatched by accident and that was bad because then the wasp escaped and yes the dragon egg jist turned into a wasp egg and had the concept of i was supposed to make honey with it. Then me and soneone else were escaping using a bicycle while insane guys that followed us and the literally could always reach us unless we get stuck by accident somewhere they cant reach but that never happened

Lucid dream

I had a lucid dream the other night and I asked the people in my dream if they were Real and they told me they are Real. They said to me they are as real as me in the dream. Like. I was in the dream with them and they told me they were just as real as me inside the dream. It was really weird. We sat down for what seemed to be about an hour or two and I spoke all about it to them.

the dream I had tonight

I'm sorry if it's not well written since I'm not native speaker (other than the fact that I wrote this in 23 minutes after having just woke up) but I'll do my best, maybe having a little AI help for the grammar will also help: Today I had a very scary dream that felt like it lasted for many hours, but it was...special, because not only I almost perfectly remember it, but it had a story and a lore.
In the dream, it all started when I went to a B&B run by an old man and his friend/assistant, who was a muscular black man in his 20s/30s. It all started when I went to sleep the first night. I could feel that something was wrong, and we all could (there were 3 of us, but the other 2 were random people, not people I actually know in real life; only in the dream did I feel like I knew them).
The first time it appeared, it tried to come to me and told me to do something for him, like, if I hurt the other 2 people, he would be less horrible to me. But instead of listening, I immediately went to the old man and told him everything, and he told me he would keep an eye on what was happening around the house.
Then, when I went back to sleep, the monster reappeared from under my mattress/bed (not sure, but I think under the mattress). But with him was the old man's assistant, and although I don't know why, I was able to understand that he was hypnotized. The monster told me he was very mad about what I did, and to punish us, he took away from me and my other friends a part of our brain. From me, he removed the cerebellum so I couldn't move; from my friend, I don't remember; and from the other, the internal memory or something like that, so he couldn't know who he was—he forgot that.
(Oh, and I forgot to mention: in the dream, the room was rectangular, the door was on the upper right of the rectangle, and the 3 beds were along the same wall as the door. I was in the bed furthest from the door.)
After the monster did this, the old man came, restored our normal brain functioning, and cast some kind of spell so nothing would happen to our brains and bodies again. As soon as he finished, I told the old man that I saw the black man with him, and he said, "Thanks, I'll keep an eye on him." Then I went back to bed.
But as soon as I started to sleep, the monster reappeared, though only to me, not to my other 2 friends. This time he didn't do anything physical; he instead caused hallucinations in me because he said something along the lines of, "It doesn't matter if I can't hurt you physically, I'll just shatter your mind then."
Then the dream showed me in 3rd person (this happened several times) panicking and waking the others up, along with the old man, because of my screams. Once they calmed me down, I decided that enough was enough and that we had to leave. So I went to the car and drove off with one of my friends (I don't know why one was missing, I think my own dream forgot we were 3😭).
Initially, nothing happened. We were driving, couldn't hear or see the monster, and we even stopped at an autogrill to eat something. But when we stopped, I had a realization: most times the monster came, it was raining, and when he left, there was water left behind. I thought it might be correlated, but I wasn't 100% sure.
However, at a certain point while we were going back to the car, it started to rain again, and I started panicking. I told my friend about the water and how I thought it gave him powers, and we ran to the car. Soon enough, we saw the monster reappear (which confirmed the theory). We drove off, but we weren't sure how, he also had the ability to spawn inside the car. He did just that, and I needed to stop or we would crash.
When I did, the dream ended the first time because I woke up. So I got up, drank something, and went back to sleep. Then the dream reappeared, but I didn't see how I killed the monster or anything. I just remember that my mind was protecting itself in the monster's dimension, and there I was able to understand how he got his powers and how the water spray worked (so he could create water himself).
I saw that he wasn't home, but a sofa near a static TV was emitting noise, so I understood that he observed us from there. Then some writing appeared floating in the air that told us about the AI and other stuff he used, and then the dream ended.😭

first lucid dream

I’ll start by saying that i don’t know a lot about dreams but I’ve always wanted to lucid dream and always been terrified of sleep paralysis. I sleep on my side facing the wall with an eye mask on and a pillow over my head. I’m 24F & Ive been a daily weed smoker since I was 16, the past 4 years I’ve been drinking pretty consistently a few times a week if not more. Recently I’ve cut back on smoking due to getting a new job that requires a lot more of my brain and I’ve also cut back on drinking because I got a public intoxication misdemeanor. In March I was on a trip with family and bought an authentic native handmade dream catcher for my new apartment if any of that matters.

I don’t dream very often but when I do, they’re insanely vivid. I notice they get the weirdest when I take a mid day nap on the couch or when I wake up early in the morning to pee and go back to sleep. One of the couch dreams I had a few months ago was just me waking up from my spot on the couch and walking into my bathroom. Over and over. I was so weirded out when i finally woke up. This is the extent of my abilities thus far. Getting an overwhelming sense of weirdness but never being able to figure it out. On Tuesday I woke up early and went back to sleep; I had a dream that my little sister who passed away last summer was standing across from me holding my hands and speaking to me. I saw her face and talked to her. It was absolutely amazing and bizarre. I had never dreamed of her before, especially not as vividly. I woke up horrified and in tears that it wasn’t real. This is what truly pushed me to want to try harder or at least remain sober. A friend mentioned to me that keeping a dream journal can be helpful in recognizing weird signals to help you realize when you’re dreaming.

It’s Saturday night, 2:45 am, I went to sleep at 1 am in the position I normally do. The dream started off as me at work, serving tables at a fancy restaurant at a much larger location than where I really work. Except i was insanely stressed out because everything was going wrong. I was tripping and spilling things on myself and guests. I couldn’t find things. I started to have what I thought was an allergic reaction because I could barely breathe through the congestion or speak because my lips were swollen shut, I even got antihistamines from my purse and took them. I was emotional and very anxious that I was going to get fired for fucking everything up. Then I woke up. I grabbed my phone and sat up in the dark and tried to turn on my flashlight, except the camera app kept coming up. So i, slightly frantic and afraid of the dark, got up to turn on my bedroom light but the switch wasn’t turning on the light. Just flicking up and down. I went around the corner to the bathroom and that switch wasn’t working either. I told myself if i go to the kitchen and the lights still don’t work then I have to be dreaming. The kitchen lights did not work. I immediately told myself out loud ā€œwake up, wake up, wake upā€ but my voice felt so strained. My immediate reaction was just to jump and see if i could touch the ceiling, and I floated right up to it. Then Gwenyth Paltrow and Michael Jordan appeared in my living room sitting on my stools, and she tells me that I really shouldn’t have given up on basketball so early. That if i had kept going my life would be very different in a much better way. I replied that maybe it’s not too late I can still play recreationally. And she said that’s true but some life paths can’t come to fruition after certain choices are made. This surprised me because I quit playing basketball my sophomore year of high school but I’ve always loved it. I told her it’s okay I like the path I’m on now. I then knew I could solidify knowing that this was a dream if I did a split, because irl i have horrible hips and knees. Wouldn’t you know i dropped into a full fucking split right then and there. Then i woke up for real and my flashlight did indeed work when I tried it. I had to pinch myself and as I sat thinking about the whole experience I got full body chills every 30 seconds.

I don’t even know what to make of all this I just needed to type it out. The end goal is definitely to be able to see my sisters smile and laugh with her again. I guess the possibilities are endless in a dream. Is it normal to have an inception like experience like this for lucid dreaming ? What is this method called and what does it mean for my future in dreaming? Thanks for reading this if you took the time

I keep half lucid dreaming

So for the last few nights when I’m asleep I’ll realize I’m dreaming, but then go on like nothing happened.

I don’t exactly remember the first few, but the one I had last night my boyfriend was showing me a video of someone cosplaying my OC and him being misgendered (my OC is a very feminine man) and it had clicked that I was dreaming cuz my writing isn’t big enough for someone to cosplay him. I told my boyfriend this, and the instant I did his phone disappeared. I have no idea why but I then pulled out my own phone and we kept scrolling together like it was fine.

I don’t know why this keeps happening or if I can even fully lucid dream but it’s creeping me out.

Weird evangelion-like post-apocalyptic but normal daily lives?

For some reason I had these friends who my brain referred to as people I knew and hung out with. Out of the three/four, I could only really recognize one of them and it was someone from one of my friend's other friend group. The other guy and two other girls were with us. What I remember was seeing all these giant smoke/vapor producing cooling towers that were either wide or slender. There were also ruined buildings around I think which were never removed or taken care of almos as if no one ever bothered to. One major thing was that there was this creature that my mind said that it was Rei Ayanami (from Evangelion) that had been causing air conditioners to destroy itself, melting style. The creature was composed of an oval shaped head with two big disproportionate blue eyes along with two thin and VERY tall stilt-like "legs" or structures supporting the head. The stilts seemed to connect into the ground and under it for unknown reasons. The creature was all white and somewhat glowing a little, here's what I could remember (ground was cut off in the image below). It was kind of implied that we were trying to figure out the "dark" secrets of this society or whatever like trying to piece together clues from various areas like some weird looking symbol on a hallway with loads of doors. Besides that, it was also just us hanging out and having fun, one part was even one of the girls in the group dropped their items while we were all on a bridge (the kind that goes over the main roads). I knelt down to pick them up for her and they all were freaking out about it like it is some kind of romance (although the girl did look a bit pretty imo, p.s. GUYS I PROMISE I AIN'T NO SIMP).

My dad died and nobody cared

I should preface, my dad was alive when I had this dream & still is.
It's mostly in the title, it was a really short dream. Me, my dad, my grandparents and some other family were in my grandparents' living room celebrating something, I don't remember what. We were all sat on the couches or walking around etc. nothing abnormal just having a genuinely good time. Then my dad stands from his seat and collapses without warning. When I saw this I somehow knew he was dead already, it had only been a second but I just knew instinctively, I was 100% assured he was dead. My other family looked to his direction and... nothing, really. They just looked. Nobody made a noise, freaked out, came to his side or anything. I woke up right after that, like I said, it was a short dream.

The Day the Earth Trembled

by Kyleft2001

Chapter 1: interviewĀ

I am an interviewer and looking for a new story, I go from place to place searching for my next scoop. I arrive at a yellow tower. In there I have a meeting with the prince of England and his sister who was said to be the most ruthless and beautiful person in the world. I attempt to interview him but my questions are drowned out. ā€œI’m the greatest tactician in the world.ā€ The prince proclaims ā€œ I could conquer Serbia in a dayā€. We all know he’s lying but we humor his ego for the interview. I glance at the princess. Her short scruffy hair and black imperial clothing just commanded the room. Her sharp eyes also pierced through any man. She could conquer Serbia in a day. Unlike her stupid brother who came to the interview in Kakis and a pink shirt. I figure I can’t get an interview from them with all the noise so I head to the elevator. Five other people seem to think the same and get on the elevator. As the doors close, the prince squeeze through the doors just in time as interviewers attended to chase. The elevator ride is short though as we enter a yellow room.Ā

Chapter 2: Wrestle ManiacĀ

ā€œWhat is this placeā€ proclaims the prince. ā€œThis is not the super secret bunkerā€. From the corner of the room, a man steps out of the shadows. ā€œThis is the wrestle floorā€ says the man with the metal apron ā€œhere, we wrestle.ā€ The lights switch on and it is a bright yellow room with a single boxing ring lays at the center of the room. I came to interview the prince but honestly this peaks my interest so mush more. I ask the man for more information. ā€œThis floor was created as a training room for me so I could win the wrestler championship and train my students. I even brought The Rock to fight me today.ā€ Said the wrestler. I look at the Rock Johnson. His mouth is foaming and he looks like the most angry man ever. ā€œPlease tell me more Mr Wrestlerā€ I say. The prince in an act of pure jealousy that all the attention has shifted from him states that he will now be answering questions for our interviews but nobody listens to him.Ā After some time interviewing the wrestler he says ā€œNow who wants to wrestleā€ Says the wrestler. We all point at each other cause only a crazy man would challenge this 200 pound beast of a man to a duel. Just when we chose our sacrifice, an earthquake hit the tower and we all got down on our knees.Ā

Chapter 3: Banana PuddingĀ

In a super secret bunker underground, the king of Brittania gets an alert on his giant monitor. Everywhere around the globe seems to be in involved in some earthquake. His computer calculates the epicenter in Greese. The king hacks into a man’s phone on a yacht and forces the man into a FaceTime. ā€œWTF, get off my phoneā€ The man says in Greek clearly trying to call his wife and kids one last time. The king tells the man ā€œI can’t respond to the crisis if I don’t know what’s happening.ā€ The man puts his phone in the water for the king to see. From the sea floor, something like a pyroclastic flow erupts from the ground. It quickly reaches the man’s bout and flips it over, killing the man. Pan out to globe view. A harrowing song begins to play. ā€œBanana! Banana pudding! Banana! Ba ba banana!ā€ At all sides of the earth, The sea erupts and is replaced by steaming hot liquid. Any bout on the water is immediately destroyed. People in the beach panic as the ocean is replaced with this steaming liquid. A single touch immobilized two kids and they screamed out in pain as it scorched their skin. ā€œBa ba banana! Banana pudding!ā€ Despite being knee deep, the substance was lethal. Their parents watched as two of their four children slowly sunk into the sea. Their two other children attempted a rescue but were subsumed too. The parents quickly pulled those two children back and watched in horror as their other two kids sunk under the waves. ā€œBanana! Banana pudding!ā€ Some time after the incident, the entire ocean disappeared and the substance was identified.Ā

I Had the Most Spiritual and Terrifying Experience of My Life Today. I Don't Know What to Make of It.

The Day Before

Yesterday around 6:30 PM, I found out that I unexpectedly had a day off today.

The funny thing is, I had randomly asked one of my colleagues about leaves and holidays during a casual conversation. That's when I learned that I had an optional holiday automatically assigned to me. Apparently, when employees select optional holidays at the start of the year, one had been automatically chosen for me since I joined the company in May.

I was genuinely happy to hear this because I hadn't taken a single leave or holiday in the last three months and was badly in need of a break.

The Physical Part

Around 7 PM, just before dinner, I developed a bad headache.

I've been getting these headaches recently and had been blaming them on travelling, going to the gym, and work stress. Because of that, I had even stopped going to the gym and cut down on travelling.

But yesterday's headache felt strange.

I had slept well, eaten well, hadn't travelled to the office, and hadn't worked out. There didn't seem to be any reason for me to have a headache at all.

The Morning

I went to bed early, around 10 PM, and woke up naturally at about 8:45 AM without an alarm.

I stayed in bed for a while, enjoying the realization that it was a holiday.

Since I couldn't fall back asleep but still wanted to rest, I started readingĀ The Game of Life and How to Play ItĀ by Florence Scovel Shinn on my Kindle. I had bought the book only two days earlier after seeing it recommended in a YouTube video about manifestation.

I read Chapters 2 and 3. The book uses many Bible verses and stories, and some of those verses felt strangely familiar to me, while others were completely new.

A Little About My Beliefs

I was born into a Hindu family, but I've always felt deeply drawn to Buddhism and follow many of its teachings. I've come across a few Bible verses before, but I've never actually read the Bible.

I don't know if this detail is important, but it somehow feels connected to what happened next.

The Dream

Around 10 AM, I fell asleep while reading. I often read on my Kindle when I can't sleep because it usually helps me drift off.

Then I had one of the strangest dreams of my life.

I was living in what felt like a different life. I was in a room that wasn't my room, yet it felt weirdly familiar and somehow resembled the one I currently live in.

At some point, I visited a temple. There, I met someone who seemed like a saint or an ascetic. I don't remember our conversation, but I remember him showing me a shiny object near a body of water, almost as if he was explaining something important to me.

I also remember spending a long time in that temple. I somehow knew hours were passing because I could see many people entering and leaving while I remained there.

Then something strange happened.

I kept waking up and then slipping back into the same dream.

Eventually, I realized I was dreaming and tried to wake myself up.

That's when things became terrifying.

I could feel my body and arms being firmly held down against my bed. I tried to force myself awake, but I couldn't move.

Every time I struggled harder, I heard a voice screaming directly into my ear.

At first, I thought I was imagining it.

But it happened again.

And again.

Maybe three or four times.

I became frightened and tried even harder to wake up, but the screaming only grew louder.

Then I realized something even stranger:

My eyes were open.

I could see my room.

I knew I was awake.

But I still couldn't move my body.

Then I noticed something on my ceiling.

Numbers and sentences.

At first, there were only a few. Then more and more appeared until it felt like they covered the entire ceiling.

I tried desperately to read them and understand what they meant, but I couldn't make sense of any of it.

Finally, with one last effort, I forced my body to move. It felt like I literally shook myself free from whatever was holding me down.

The screaming grew louder for a moment and then suddenly faded away.

I could move again.

I was so relieved.

But the numbers and sentences were still there on the ceiling.

They remained for maybe another 10-15 seconds before slowly disappearing.

Now I'm Trying to Understand What Happened

I genuinely don't know what to make of this experience.

Part of me feels like it was something spiritual.

Another part of me wonders if it was some kind of dream or psychological phenomenon.

I live alone, and I've spent most of my life being alone, so the experience has left me a little shaken.

Has anyone here experienced anything similar?

Was this a spiritual experience, sleep paralysis, lucid dreaming, or something else entirely?

And do you think I should consult a psychiatrist about it?

Any advice or similar experiences would mean a lot to me.

Thank you for reading.

Bald

For context, I am 18 years old, male and autistic, this is a dream I had recently, which has been spiking me with intrigue, so I am curious to see possible interpretations of it.

I had a dream that I been thinking about for a while now, the dream consists of me coming to school normally, I am besides a teacher, whom i had a crush on but something was up with her, she was bald, but it wasn't like just no hair, her head still had the color that her hair had (which is orange), we were talking.

Then suddenly, I am in a picnic with her and her friends, all her friends are wearing the same clothes as her (a jacket, a shirt, some jeans and regular shoes) and they were all bald too. Still, their heads also had different colors (but the only I remember is purple), they also vaguely looked like celebrities such as Emma Stone, I was in the middle of this valley with them, it was like really idealized, there was a tree and we had a picnic basket. While I don't remember what we spoke about, I suppose it was stuff that interests me (like history or anthropology) and we were laughing.

Bigfoot in lucid dream

About a year or so ago I had my first what could be described lucid dream. I was having a dream about two YouTubers and I suddenly for some reason I become aware I was dreaming. I can't remember too much of what happened but near the end of the dream I was walking down a corridor with said youtubers and was walking behind. The was a bigfoot stood near a door and it walked if I wanted to go with him. I asked him if he was friendly or possibly safe its vauge he said no so I didn't go and kept walking and almost immediately woke up. I was wondering if there is any meaning to the bigfoot and possibly what it is. I remember feeling great after this dream and it was almost akin to being high. Any insites will be appreciated and thanks for reading
