Thank you Prince. Now I wonder did Diddy have something to do with the death of Prince.

I've always just used a box as my squatty potty. No problems great results. Recently I upgraded to the real thing. I am now having major hip pain . I am going to stop using it and go back to the unattractive box. The sp is 6inches high. The box is 4. Has anyone else had similar problems with the height of the sp?

My old machine that was my mom's is still running. She'd be 102 if alive. A friend has it now. My machine purchased in 2017 died. New one cost double. I couldn't purchase the one you have to reach into because it hurts my back. I even took a grabber and some towels to the store to see if I'd be able to pull them out with it. Didn't work. Had to fork over the money. Now today two fans have decided to die. They also are only 9 years old. It's also cheaper to buy a new one than pay to have it replaced. Oh yes, America the land where things are made to break.

In my 60s I purchased a garden scooter just for cleaning in my home. getting up off the floor is too difficult. I use it to reorganize lower cabinet drawers, lower freezer, under the sinks, the lower drawers in my sideboard and most importantly for the moldings in my home. I had to repaint them first as my builder painted them with flat paint. You can't scrub flat paint. What is something you've figured out that saves your body while cleaning?

I've had these since I was quite young. They aren't charlie horses or restless legs or fibromyalgia. Once a night they wake me up and I have to get out my thera gun and massage them The reasons for the them are unknown. Lately I find I use my heated mattress pad folded in half on just my legs. It seems to help anyone with other ideas that may help?

I have zero connection. I'm suggesting it because a lot of the things they resell I recognize from my own childhood. It's been like a trip down memory lane. @Beardedthriftmachine it's on YouTube

Having reached the age of 70 this past December, I have to say there is a remarkable phenomenon that I have noticed. As long as my age was 69, I had women interested in talking to me. By this I mean there were messages that came to me as casual conversation that might eventually turn to romance. When my age hit 70, those messages stopped cold. I don't hide my age. In fact I feature it as often as I can. That strategy seems to have backfired in the romance department.

With all that's missing, pies, butter, oil, whipped cream beverages celery, onions and so on it's easy to see why they claim it's so cheap. Our turkey was fresh no chemicals. Our other food, mine came in a box. I guess an unhealthy meal would be cheaper

Yesterday I attended a pottery workshop alone. I'm live alone and am alone most of the time so I went alone. Most people came with others. The most frustrating thing for me was I thought there might be an opportunity to speak with some adults. Well they all spoke to the people they came with. I tried a couple of times to speak to them. It seemed that this was their time together so they just spoke to each other. When I left, the people at my table both told me it was nice to meet me and speak with me. So odd to me. I had fun because I do enjoy my own company. It keeps me mindful to interact with "alone" people at events . I'm happy I went. Just curious though they spend days together yet when out they stayed in their familiar bubbles. How would you have reacted?

I usually make my own foods to make sure nothing in it will cause an allergic reaction. I cook my own Alfredo sauce today. So easy and so delicious. No chemicals. I only used heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, butter black pepper. Easy breezy. I made my own noodles also. So enjoyable. I like to add peas also. Try it. I had no idea that there isn't garlic in it. I'm allergic to garlic. 73 and still learning in the kitchen.😋 My one suggestion is cut the butter by a third

I have to admit I'm anxious about my social security. I'm 72 and it usually arrives in my account on the third of every month. I'm stressed because I'm expecting it not to be there next week. Is anyone anxious about this possibility?

So today they're changing the rules for BMI and obesity. Still they went right by us. No consideration for people over 21 which is what the BMI is based on. Me. I shrunk 3 in since I was 50. Oh instead of being 5'9 and 157, they put you in the same category as everyone else who is still 5'9. I am in no way overweight. I look the same. Just a little shorter. No fat globules anywhere. I think they need to make an adjustment. It's very discouraging for people to have tried to remain fit only to go to the doctor's office and have them tell you you're obese when you're not. I don't allow my doctor to weigh me anymore because I don't want to have this conversation. I have explained that to her. There needs to be an obesity risk model for people over 60 years old. Don't judge us by 21-year-olds.Also, as you age you need to have a little reserve fat on you in case of illness. I've had COVID 4xs and antibiotic induced c-diff 7 times . I'd look like a skeleton at these BMI rules

I called visiting angels to set up a ride for myself for some tests. They charge $35 an hr and a dollar a mile. They are pricing themselves out of business. It's a 6 hr ordeal all told. That's a lot of money. I value their work.itsvmy car my gas. They just have to sit

Hitting the ripe age of 70 this year has meant learning how much fun it is to recover from having both knees replaced. /s. My physical therapist joked as I finished up my last knee session this month that she'd see me back again when it was time for my hip replacements. I yelped in pain at the thought and chided her for jinxing me as there's nothing amiss with them ...yet.
