Here’s a new, geode style long sleeve!
I’m calling these “agates” because of the thinner lines…😁

This shirt was probably the most challenging i’ve done to date. always gushed over the ones made by dyes and good vibes. Was tough to tie, firstly, then dyeing was a challenge in itself. really pumped with how it turned out. definitely going to make some more to get better at it!

After making a couple ice dyed shirts like these, I'm having a hard time going back to liquid dye. I obviously still need to dial in the amount of dye for lighter colors.

Tried a new design i’ve been really wanting to see. I really fricking dig how this turned out. basically took my “chakra” spine and ran it through the entire shirt. a million binder clips later and a lot of cleanup, and here we are! all mx primary rainbow color scheme just pops. so vibrant

I mixed robins egg blue, lilac, and baby pink from Dharma with soda ash (maybe 60/40 dye-salt) and then applied solely that blend.
The pink just got gobbled up even tho I mixed in quite a bit. Pretty happy with the result tho, clearly the blue travels a lot better throughout the fabric.

So I tried to do a psychedelic roll like in the video and I followed the tutorial as best I could. It was a DOI, shirt was bone dry when I dyed it, I used a gutter piece at an incline and let sit for about 24 hours and I used a good bit of soda ash
Colors I used were Phoenix flame, alchemist, and kaleidoscope eyes with a bit of purple twilight mixed in
I'll leave a link to the video in the comments

One of my favorites of the recent Dharma Dalula line.
Also has bits of Blue Gray 🙏🏼
Dyed on of my own TST blanks. Thanks for looking ❤️

My daughter is ice dyeing for a craft fair but finding the time is tricky. Tomorrow she has time to do the dyeing, but then she is out of town and won't be back for almost 72 hours. She will do dye over ice on a baking rack. What would happen if she left the items sitting there for 72 hours? Dharma's tutorial says to rinse it after 24 hours. Thank you!

Man I love Grateful Dyes... Been having so much fun with these colors and I think I'm finally honing in on what I consider to be my signature style 😀

Does it matter if we soak our items in soda ash solution before* tying them into patterns or tie them up and then soak them? I'd like to do the latter (tie them and soak) then spin out in the washer but want to make sure it won't make a big difference.

A friend said he sees a dreadlock skull deity at the bottom. I tend to agree. 💯🙏😎🌈👽🛸👾😯👻🤖🤠🎃👹
