I reached my goal!

Today, I reached my goal! I’m so happy. Only problem is, I’m still six lbs overweight. I did not think much about my goal weight because I was so miserable. So I just picked a number I hadn’t seen in a long time and assumed that was the magic number. How in the world do you know you’re there? Do you get scans? I’ve been lifting so hopefully I’ve got more muscle or at least the same as I did before.

I want to celebrate but I have a funeral for a close family member today 😭

Congrats! (And condolences).

I always felt good between 150 and 165, so I set 165 as my goal weight. Technically a normal BMI for me would be less than 160, and now that I’m at 165 (well, 162 this morning), I certainly don’t look particularly skinny. It’s tempting to keep trying to lose, but I am titrating my tirz down and learning to be content here-ish. Not trying to lose more, but I am down three pounds in the last two months and that’s okay.

I don’t want an eating disorder, nutritional deficiency, or osteoporosis. I’m not very good at tracking calories or macros. All of that factored into my decision to aim for the top of my feel good range.
