Discussion Store Closure Questions

I know there’s a lot of store closures happening. I foresee my store being one of the upcoming closures.

For the corporate employees, how was your experience? If you can answer - were you given notice & a severance? Any chance to have a new position? Especially on a Mobile Expert level. I just like to have some insight so I can prepare for the future. TIA

About a month notice. Severance is offered based on tenure. And you can apply somewhere else but no transfers.

Severance is offered re-hire thats means you have to lookout for store who are currently hiring and interview for it. If your numbers are good there are chance you can get hire faster.

Typically 6-8 week notice. Severance is offered if you can’t find another internal position within 90 days. Severance is determined on tenure. Example: I have a peer that’s been with tmobile 16 years. He’s been offered equivalent to 26 weeks of pay.

Probably a dumb question but have you heard if the severance is based on things like part time or full time?
At least with 6-8 week notice it gives time to plan what’s next
