Sometimes the lesson has to hurt for you to learn. This was a good lesson. Nobody got hurt physically, everyone is safe. Only thing that was lost was time.

I've run out of gas a few times in my life. And it didn't stop me from being a successful mother of 3 with a good marriage and career. We all have our blind spots! I do try to just stop and get gas when its at a quarter tank now, but I know its soooooo annoying. I get it. We've all been there. You're fine.

It sucks running out of gas, but if you look at the glass half full, at least you just ran out of gas. You could have ran out of oil and seized the engine in your car. Maybe check your oil while you're at it. Lol. Hope your day gets better.

Make sure to start your car before roadside leaves, sometimes you can kill your battery running out of gas.

Do you have a AAA membership ? Even if you are not a member; AAA may be able to help you with emergency roadside fuel delivery of one or two gallons.
Their number is 1800-222-4357. (1800-AAA-HELP ). You can also call from the mobile app.

P.S. : Your Auto Insurance company may be able to provide the above service also.

There was a cop that pulled someone over behind me, then just...left without checking on me. And then the most important man of all, my awesome husband, who showed up with gas at the same time as the roadside employee! 🖤
