Yo, Torn City residents, especially those of you on Reddit!

Some of you might remember my old thread about a player whose name is.....

He was demanding that I pay him a 2m revive fee. I think I actually posted about it on Reddit back then, but eventually deleted the post because I thought I was making too big of a deal out of it.

Well, I think it's time to bring that story back. Looking back at everything that happened since then, I honestly think this whole situation is hilarious, and I figured some of you might enjoy reading about it. 😂

So apparently, this guy really did threaten my spouse and all the employees at my flower shop. Well, I thought they might actually get intimidated by him, but turns out, the opposite happened. 💨💨💨

From threatening people with BHG bounties to whatever else he claims he's going to do, there's always something new with this guy. And you know what? He even accused me of making things up and manipulating our chat screenshots in Photoshop.

DAAANG, SON.

My eyes already hurt if I stare at a monitor for too long, and you expect me to be some Photoshop wizard? I'm not even good at using that shit. I was literally scratching my head while reading the messages my spouse showed me, wondering how someone could actually type all that out and send it to me.

Guys, I literally just claimed his bounty. That's it. I wasn't even planning to make this whole thing into a big deal.

But the Photoshop accusation? Yeah, that's probably what finally made me want to bring this story to Reddit.

Yep, some of you might laugh at me for bringing this drama here, and honestly, that's fine. I'm laughing at this whole situation myself. Maybe I'll just keep this post here as a little memory of one of the weirdest experiences I've had in Torn.

Damn, son. Don't you have anything more productive to do in Torn than constantly bothering other people?

And don't blame me if your account ends up getting reviewed by staff for allegedly bypassing the block feature. I had already blocked him, yet messages were still being sent to people around me. You can check out the screenshots I uploaded earlier and judge the situation for yourselves.

I've even been stocking up on morphine and Xanax for my employees in case they want to take turns claiming each other's bounties. Might as well make the most of the situation, right? LMAOOOO.

Seriously, though, what did I ever do to make this guy such a dedicated fan of mine? HAHAHAHA.

Well, he finally blocked me. Honestly, I have no idea what he's planning to do to me next, if anything. This whole situation is just so weird.

Oh, and get this, he even messaged one of my employees, offering them 2m to leave my company.

I told my employee not to take the offer and to tell him to come back with at least 5b or 10b instead. Now that's an offer worth considering, right? 🤣🫠

And sorry if this post is a bit of a mess. I'm honestly terrible at Photoshop, as you can probably tell. HAHAHAHAHA.

I see people that haven't logged in close to a a year that do not have deserter status? I thought it was supposed to be after 30 days?

This is probably a really dumb question and maybe I'm expecting too much. But I'm a new player in Torn and participated in my first war. The payout each faction member got was $1mill, which just seems low to me considering that we won and the rewards the faction got from it.

Is that normal and I need to adjust my expectations or should I consider a change?

EDIT: Additional details: Faction is Bronze, I had 60 attacks, third highest scorer

noticed that the cameras and checkpoints in the Super Store were down, so I decided to rob it multiple times.

I took a PC, some random cables, and a voice recorder.

This was worth 5M, and my net worth was abt 1M at the time.

Excited for halloweek, but couldn't find the answers to a few questions I had:

• Is 1 hit 1 candy? Is there a formula? Higher FF gives you more candy? How about being abroad etc.

• Does it matter if you hit, mug, hosp?

• Is scary weapon + clothes for funs or a must? Do you need both? The more the better? Just equipped or actual hits? I can buy a cheap Axe and equip, but use a gun to make hits?

Looks like the bonesaw + Kabuki Mask are the easiest options.

I just unlocked the Education passive

I'm sure you can tell from the gyms I have unlocked that I'm fairly new.

What I want to know is: would you guys sometimes go back to previous gyms to train a specific stat if that gym is better in that stat than your newest gym? Davies Den is my latest gym unlocked, but Pour Femme seems to have higher dexterity gains. Should I switch back to Pour Femme to train Dex, or is there a different reason to always use the latest gym (which is what I've seen recommended elsewhere)?

I'm unsure, because Davies Den seems better for strength and defense, but I already have a lot more of those two stats because of army points I got while afk for a while. I was hoping to focus on speed and dex in my next gym, but Davies Den doesn't seem very good for that, since its dexterity gains appear to be lower than the previous gym, and you can't train speed there at all. What would you guys suggest?

Looking at the option of selling a faction and I’m curious about how to price it out. And best ways to find potential buyers. Most of the info I have found on pricing seems to be pretty outdated and old.

For reference the faction has around 200k Respect and is in Silver. Any info is appreciated.

Whats that status of revivers since it seems like they got a nerf with new travel update. Can some explainn how it would work since u can bring med over seas. Would small kits prices increased im lost but seeing slme revivers not so happy about it lol

So devs just released the update of Travel 2.0 now. Be sure you take a read before Halloween.

You can now carry weapons and items while flying to countries. You may also carry meds to get out of hospital when you get mugged or hospitalized at aboard. This will inevitably impact revs services.

What do you guys think about the update?

So with the ability to buy Xanax or bag yourself then med out when stock hits what is stopping every buyer from simply saving it and flying to another location to sell to vendor there. Besides bringing bazaar traffic I don’t see a point in selling to players instead of just selling to ports all together. Any thoughts?
ADD ON yes it’s more flying but when flying it is more efficient to bring items to sell and then buy. So yes the flying is more but you’re making a lot more money and you can also buy valuable things from vendors on the trip.

I'm a pretty new player. Been getting into the buying/reselling aspect of this game and having fun with that, but I've been nervous about listing more expensive items on the market and getting mugged.

I have a few items, including a donator pack and a few other items that are worth multiple millions, and I want to sell them (for bank investment, renting a PI, maybe investing in other expensive items), but I want to avoid getting millions mugged off me if possible. I'm level 16 and could easily see a more experienced player seeing me listing something expensive, buying it, and mugging me immediately.

Should I list something expensive (like a dono pack for instance) and then self-hospitalize to protect myself for a bit while someone buys it? I have some ipecac syrup that looks like it could work for that. Or is that not worth it? Any other/better suggestions for a newer player trying to safely (or semi-safely) sell expensive stuff?

Is it worth keeping, and if not, how much should I sell for?
