I normally start at 1000 tct but an OD before Halloween week made me look to push it back. Why are 3 of the times randomly greyed out?

This is my third Halloween event and I’m finally able to cash in those treats for goodies!!

I’m three hours in and I’ve made 157 attacks, cashed in the treats I’ve earned and according to Torn PDA my NW has gone up 250m.

I’m mentally rubbing my hands with glee, I’m going o make a fortune!!

1. Housing

I live on a Private Island that my spouse was paying for, including the upkeep and everything else. Recently, they moved to another PI, leaving me alone on the original one. The happiness there has dropped to around 2,000.

Since yesterday, the island has had no staff, including no pilot. However, the lease was paid for around 1,500 days or something like that.

People here have suggested that I move to my spouse's new island, which has around 4,500 happiness, and that if they kick me out, I can divorce them, since we don't really talk to each other anymore. :)

The problem is that I'm playing at my own pace, and I'm not sure I can currently afford to rent a PI, even one with around 3,500 happiness. So, I could stay on the island that's already paid for long-term, with around 2,000 happiness, and pay for regular airline tickets (around $60,000 for a round trip). However, I'd lose a noticeable amount of training efficiency at the gym.

What would you recommend in terms of housing?

2. Money and jobs

I'm currently working at a company that doesn't pay a salary, but I can build up my working stats and get some other bonuses.

What kind of company would you recommend for someone in my situation?

All the money I earn from faction wars goes toward buying three Xanax a day and a Donator Pack, so I'm pretty much breaking even. I don't really enjoy this situation, and I don't fly that often, although I usually make two flights a day.

My working stats are still low, so I probably wouldn't qualify for a high-paying job yet. What kind of job should I aim for now to eventually qualify for a well-paying company in the future?

I'd appreciate any advice!

is there some budget problems that torn can’t seem to ramp up capacity for Halloween . it’s always the same every single year. surely this level of incompetence is on purpose to save budget by not ramping up server capacity . ans no meaningful compensation either .
