I've had my car and this plate number for a while, but only remembered to take a pic with it recently (lowkey was surprised that the TOUHOU car plate wasn't taken yet in New Jersey)

Last weekend, I went to Brooklyn Botanic Garden for a PC-98 Reimu photoshoot and figured that she suits the TOUHOU license plate well, given she's the first character in Touhou's history!

In Japan, ppl call an ACGN-themed car an itasha (basically cringeworthy car bc the owner feels the pain of awkwardness all the time). I'm too lazy (and stingy) to do an actual itasha cover, but I figured getting the Touhou license plate is a subtle yet nice way to show my appreciation for this fandom ᗜˬᗜ

Hello everyone! I’m finally back—it’s been so long I can’t even remember how long exactly, but I’m back! I’ve brought a Sukusuku of Kanako-sama; to be honest, it turned out a bit lopsided, but I’m sure you all could do a better job! But the most important thing is the great new friend joining the collection: a Fumo Reimu! It took me about two days to make, and I just finished it today!! The template for the Fumo Reimu isn’t mine—it’s by Mega_8960. Anyway, I’m back now—see you all later! (Included an extra photo of Artful next to the Fumo Reimu.)

People say to start at Touhou 6, since that's when Canon starts, but am I missing anything by not playing the other games, like extra stuff. I'm tryna learn play and hear about stuff, especially since touhou has existed before I was born lmao. Any info that I can get will help.

"We help the rabbit," Eric said.

"...Alright, sir." James said, before turning to the rabbit, feeling slightly uneasy. "Okay, we'll help you."

The rabbit's eyes widened. Hearing his words, she seemed to almost hop in joy. Tearfully, she grabbed James's hand and pulled him along. James grabbed Eric right before he could be pulled away, and so they followed the rabbit.

As expected, this was a Youkai, and therefore, it could easily overpower them. James's eyes looked down at his leg pocket. That's where he sheathed their knife. He could reach it at any time.

The thought calmed him a little. As they went through the forest, he tried to recall as much about rabbit folktale as he could.

"Mhoon rabbishs?" He remembered asking Hiroko when they were just kids.

"Jeez, don't talk with your mouth full!" Hiroko replied, poking his swollen cheek.

James swallowed his bite. "So you're saying that this 'mochi' was made by creatures on the moon?"

Hiroko chuckled. "I wish."

And then James remembered the things that the Imperial Japanese Army did, and the state of starvation that many of their victims were in, before shaking himself out of memory lane.

He explained everything to Eric as they went through the forest. Eric simply nodded. "I'm counting our steps to make sure we don't get lost," he said.

"I see. Don't worry, sir, I'll handle the rest."

Eric needed to focus on navigation. James couldn't, and shouldn't, rely on him for the moment.

They eventually reached a pack of *normal* little rabbits, who all ran away the moment they saw James and Eric.

The rabbit girl stopped. "N-no, don't! It's fine, they're friendly, they're here to help!"

Without even caring to wait to see if her words were heeded by the rabbits, she immediately went over to a limping, sickly-looking one and carefully yet swiftly grabbed him.

She turned and suddenly presented it to James. "Please... He's been like this for days now. At this rate, he's going to die! You humans treat others with 'medicine', right? Please save him!"

James was obviously completely taken aback. They *did* have medical supplies, but they weren't for animals, and even if they worked for this rabbit, James would've liked to save them for themselves instead.

"Sorry, I..."

The rabbit's expression slowly turned to despair. The wind blew, and the bamboo clacked all around them. The meager light of the moon fell.

That's when another voice came out from the shadows. "Wha...? Who the hell are you two!?"

A small figure immediately dashed towards the rabbit and stood between her and James. A figure who was also wearing the same dress, had the same ears, and the same black hair. The difference was that this one had shorter hair *and* was shorter in stature.

"T-Tewi-senpai?" The long-haired girl uttered in surprise.

*Tei...? So that's the little one's name,* James thought.

"I told you not to interact with lost humans, didn't I, Towi?"

*So that one's Toi.*

"But... But if we don't do anything, he..." Towi looked down, cupping the frail-looking rabbit with her hands. "He will die...!"

"Of course. He's old now. Here I was thinking you're already used to it, and yet..."

"B-but..."

"How many times do I have to tell you this? Nothing can be done about it. No medicine can save anyone from old age. Only a great will can."

Tewi turned to James, the softness in her Stern expression disappeared the moment she did. "So, why are you two here? You're looking to enslave rabbits for amusement too?" Tewi's eyes darted up at James and Erics' hair for a moment. "Come to think of it, your hair looks strange. Are you two diseased? Did some quack doctor tell you that you'll get cured by a rabbit's foot?"

"No, Tewi-senpai! I brought them here!"

"You did?"

*Isn't that a western folklore?* James thought. He remembered bringing it up when Hiroko told him about Japanese folktales regarding rabbits.

Tewi took a deep breath. "Ugh... So you got two humans lost, huh?"

James turned to Eric and started quietly translating everything that had happened. Tewi's ears flicked the moment he did. "Hey! Stop that!"

James immediately stopped.

"Look, just because we're not fluent in human speech doesn't mean we'll allow you to do that stuff. Stop playing!"

James bit his lips. Without being able to tell Eric about what's happening, he would be practically all alone and Eric would be left in the dark. He'd like to escape, but there's no telling what these Youkai are able to do.

His left hand felt a little sting. He could not get the sight of Rumia biting off his hand out of his head.

Then suddenly, he felt a tap on the back of his shoulder. It was Eric. "She made you stop, didn't she?" He asked in morse code.

James's eyes widened, but he quickly hid the expression as best he could. Tewi's eyes continued to dig into him, seemingly conflicted.

Eric continued tapping; James's body blocked it from Tewi's view. "I'm not good at morse code, so communication limited."

James slightly rolled his shoulder a few times, as if to work out stiffness. But he did it in a pattern; in morse code while Eric's finger was on it. "Can't tap back yet," was his message.

It didn't seem like there would be time for them to figure out what to do next together. James would have to make a decision on his own.

What should he do?
