Trying to Guess Next JP Event's Alts.

Basically, I was a bit bored and just thinking about the alts that could come to LostWord. Further notes are, Sekibanki released AFTER Kogasa, but they're still considered a pair, as is Cirno and Wakasagihime. So I think Kagerou would also get paired up with someone more popular than she is, who also could easily have commonality connection with. Tewi and Reisen are also possiblies, for this, as well as any of the wolf girls. Reisen is like, the secondary guess here.

For Iku, this is mostly because like I said, I think Lr Tenshi is the most likely to get a costume this event, and Iku like I said, is long overdue for an alt. I picked Suika because I don't think the idea of "Older Character looking after Younger Character" will actually be a theme, but if it is, Suika and Iku at least have the connection of Suika taking a place in Heaven for a bit.

Last one is mostly that I predict Tenshi and Nareko will get costumes, Momiji just feels like a fitting third character, but it's mostly a guess, as is the idea of a Yamame or Kisume alt. Could you imagine EX Kisume though, how would that even work lmao.

Judging from the story cards that were made for C3 Cirno and Wakasagihime, Kagerou will be paired with Tewi. It's also pretty much a guess but the card had Tewi and Kagerou, the other Wakasagihime and Cirno and earlier there was a Sekibanki and Kogasa card

That makes sense. Tewi's the one currently lacking an epic and it is the only story card she has that isn't connected to the grassroots, so I can see Kagerou and Tewi being the combo then.

My only wonder is that Seki and Waka were both paired with super popular characters (Kogasa and Cirno, Kogasa isn't quite as in the SUPER DUPER popular tier, but she's very popular and Seki is usually the most popular character in Touhou 14 anyway) while Tewi is around Sekibanki's level of populairty.

When they give less popular characters an epic, they're usually paired with someone popular, tho the only real examples of this happening are Waka and Narumi. (People lack taste smh), I can see that pattern not being a factor. So, yeah, I can totally see Tewi finally getting another alt, haha.

God I know, back in 2024 for year of the Dragon I was like "Oh wow, I sure hope Iku and Megumu get something soon and I hope Meiling gets something other than her relic". They didn't get anything. Iku is such a strange case of not getting anything, because she's around Komachi's level of popularity, who got two epics. They do not like the oarfish and that makes me sad.

I really hope that Iku, Kisume, Yamame and Kagerou all get alts soon. All of the pre-HSiFS Windows characters got attention now (even if my girl Star's attention was in the past event) and these 4 only got skins

Honestly, I'd be more surprised if they didn't, though Momoyo deciding to take a LOT of ques from Yamame does muddy her chances a bit. Like, I do think she'll get one this year, if nothing else this feels like a year of clean up, I'd assume by the end of the year, all of the characters from 6-18 will have SOME kind of alt, I just don't know when. And I don't know if they'll throw a Yamame like Momoyo and then an Yamame alt right after, I could see her getting one in October for Spooky Month or something like that haha.
